Property Information

This cottage is in a residential neighbourhood only seven minutes from the airport located off just off the North Shore in Hamilton Parish. With the #10 and #11 bus stop right at the door the whole island is easy to access.

The cottage is roomy with a good size living room and dining room with a walk-out to a patio and bar-b-que and a garden surrounded by flowers that leads to your own pool.

The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge with a freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board and laundry facilities. Linens, towels and beach towels are all provided.

Air conditioning and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort. Cable TV, a radio and internet access and a phone for local calls are also included. A calling card would be necessary for overseas calls.

There are two large bedrooms. One bedroom has 2 double beds, the other one double bed and a twin bed. There is also a fold-out sofa for 2 additional guests.

The large and spacious bathroom has lots of storage and a bath tub and a shower.

For a lovely dinner out, The Landfall Café is a 5-minute walk from the cottage and Shelly Bay Marketplace at Shelly Bay Plaza is only 15 minute walk to pick up provisions. There is also a small convenience store at the gas station at the end of Radnor Road. One half mile away there is another convenience store open until midnight. Grocery stores also sell liquor, wines and beer. Drycleaners, a pizza parlor and a Post Office are nearby.

Heading east, Flatts Village is five minutes away by bus with nice places to eat and the Aquarium and Zoo which are well worth a visit.

Shelly Bay Beach is the closest beach to the cottage, very safe and without the undertow of many of the more turbulent South Shore beaches. The caves around the headland offer excellent snorkeling. Tobacco Bay in St. Georges only about 15 minutes by bus away is another great beach, very sheltered with marvelous numbers of fish. Be sure to explore St. Georges while you’re there as well. This quaint and historic town is over 400-years-old and is a World Heritage site. Scuba diving, wind surfing and sailing are all available at nearby Grotto Bay Resort.

Mopeds can be prebooked and delivered to the property.

Golfers will enjoy the Ocean View Golf Course, as well as the many others within 20 minutes of the premises. Hiking is enjoyable at Ferry Reach and St. Davids Head, two of the larger and more interesting parks. There is also Spittal Pond Bird Sanctuary and endless coastline areas to walk.

Additional Rate Information

$250.00 per night for 4 guests. A fold out sofa is available for 2 additional guests. $25.00 per day for each additional guest. Monthly rates upon request.
