Property Information
Newly built and fully furnished home with a crisp traditional appearance and every amenity for your comfort. Located in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Paget with handy access to the bus and the ferry, the island is at your feet and waiting to be explored.
Wondefrful 2-storey house with a living room, dining room, and spacious kitchen fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and freezer. There is a total of 5 beds in the 3 bedrooms with 3 queen beds, and 2 double beds. Rollaway cots can be added for extra guests. Linens and beach towels are provided and laundry facilities are available on the premises.
The house has 2.5 bathrooms, the two larger bathrooms have a shower and tub. There is air conditioning throughout and ceiling fans are also provided.
At this great central location, there is a bus stop at the door so to plan your day's activities you only have to decide which direction to go. There is also the Blue Hole or Lower Ferry that will take you straight into Hamilton. The ferry service plies the harbour from Front Street in Hamilton, where the central bus depot is located with connections to all points on the island. Bus/ferry passes are available at the airport and represent simply excellent value to the family traveling with small children, or for seniors not comfortable with moped transportation. Beautiful Elbow Beach is only a few minutes away and a 10-minute walk will get you to the nearest grocery store now open between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday and cycle rental. For hikers, the famed Railway Trail can be found a 5 minute walk from the house and Hamilton by bus is 10 minutes away , even less by moped.
Paget is a very popular location for visitors to the island because it is close to Hamilton , only about 2 miles away so convenient for shopping or dining out. But proximity to the city does not mean one is removed from the natural splendors of the South Shore. A short walk along the picturesque Railway Trail takes one to the #7 bus route which travels along South Shore Road to the best of Bermuda's famed beaches. Other points of interest include the Paget Marsh Nature Reserve, beautiful Grape Bay Beach , worth a quiet walk over the hills to enjoy , and the Botanical Gardens and picturesque "Camden House" open to the public as a museum.
Heading west along the South Shore the pink-sand beaches are laid out like pearls for you to discover - Warwick Long Bay, and the incredible trio of small beaches known as Chaplin's Bay, Stonehole Bay and Jobson’s Cove, Horseshoe Bay, a great curve of sand with a commercial cafe for food and drinks and rental facilities for deck chairs and umbrellas. Head east along the South Road to buy fresh fish at Devonshire Bay, explore the bird sanctuary at Spittal pond or relax on the sand at John Smiths Bay. Continue to the Aquarium at Flatts, and the collection of exotic fish and turtles at Devil's Hole. St. George’s is only a little further east with its World Heritage Site collection of 200 to 400 year old buildings all very much in use today and lovingly preserved.
A Lease is required with full payment in advance of guest’s arrival. A damage security deposit of $1,000.00 must also be paid and will be refunded within 4-6 weeks after tenancy once electricity/water/telephone bills/breakage, if any, has been assessed.
We have two Homes available making more space a total of 6 bedrooms and each house with 2.5 bathrooms
