Located within the exclusive gated enclave of Caret Bay Villas, WHALE WATCH VILLA is situated on the unspoiled North Coast of St. Thomas and boasts spectacular ocean views looking out to the Virgin Passage and beyond. During winter months you may see migrating whales from the villas's expansive decks - and there's no extra charge for the glorious sunsets, beautiful starlit nights, and the gentle surf sounds and tropical breezes that will lull you to sleep at night. Quiet and sophisticated with two comfortable queen bedrooms, the villa offers maximum privacy and is a perfect retreat for one to two couples or a small family. Beautifully appointed, furnishings are stylish and modern and include thoughtful personal touches that add to the warmth and welcoming ambience. The newly remodeled kitchen is fully equipped, featuring granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Patio furnishings and a gas grill are provided for alfresco dining. Two full bathrooms are located on the villa's second floor. Bathroom # 3 is on the main floor and is used as a powder room only.

Both beautifully appointed bedrooms are located on the villa's upper level, each with its own private balcony . Bedroom One has a bath attached that includes shower, double sinks and bidet. The 2nd Bedroom has a full bath just steps across the central upstairs hallway that includes shower, double sinks, and bidet. All cotton bed linens and bath towels are provided.
Air conditioners in each bedroom, but the fans and the sea breeze make nights enjoyable during most of the year. All Cotton Linens and Towels. Beach and Pool Towels provided. Big Screen Cable TV, DVD Player, 3-CD stereo with AM-FM Radio. Kitchen fully equipped with microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher, pots & pans, dishes, glassware, small appliances. Things to Do in St Thomas: If you're adventurous, you might want to take a 5-minute hike to nearby Caret Bay for snorkeling, surfing, swimming, or maybe a little fishing. More populated beaches such as world famous Magen's Bay, downtown Charlotte Amalie with it's fabulous restaurants and shopping, and fun tourist attractions are a short 15 minute drive of the villa. More outdoor adventures await a bit further afield on the island's East End. You can catch the ferry at Red Hook Terminal to visit historic St. John, or spend an afternoon exploring Coral World Marine Park, St. Thomas's amazing undersea aquarium. Great swimming and snorkeling can be found at Sugar Bay and Pineapple Beach on the East end with many options for recreational water sports nearby. Choose from activities such as scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing, jet-ski rentals or day sail charters. After days filled with sun and fun, drive the short distance back to the serene verandas of Whale Watch Villa

Our family spent 35 wonderful days at Whale Watch while house-hunting on St Thomas. The villa was so comfortable, peaceful, quite and decorated beautifully. Though our stay was in the heart of summer, the fresh breeze kept the villa nice and cool. Even during the day, we rarely needed the A/C. We have two young girls that, like us, absolutely loved the villa. Our three year old actually learned to swim in the pool. We hated to have to leave.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whale Watch Villa. It was beautifully decorated (I loved the island turquoise bedroom). It was very well appointed (I had everything I needed in the kitchen and my husband love the big screen T.V.). We spent the majority of our time lounging by the private pool on the deck with awesome views and a lovely breeze. We seemed so far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown St. Thomas and yet we were only about a 15 min drive to endless shopping and sites. We would definitely come back here! Thank you for your lovely home. |
