Noyo Harbor

Back in the late 1800s, Noyo Harbor was first established as a port for logging and fishing.

The Noyo Harbor is an active, fully operational harbor and is in fact the first harbor North of San Francisco Bay.

The harbor is reminiscent of the famous cannery row in Monterey which includes fisheries and a full marina with classic and vintage fishing vessels of all types. The harbor is a wonderful place to view plentiful seals coming and going, to kayak or to just sit back and enjoy the sound of the fog horn and watch the boats coming and going.

There have been many classic movies and T.V Shows filmed here through the years including The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming (1966), Humanoids from the deep (1980), Overboard with Kurt Russell & Goldie Hawn (1987) and the T.V series Murder She Wrote in the 80’s.

We really enjoyed our time here in Fort Bragg. This RV park is in an amazing location, within walking distance to the beach and several restaurants. We found ourselves walking down to the beach for sunrise and sunset each day!! The full kitchen was a great addition. Weve stayed in other RV airbnbs with small kitchens but this had everything; a fully functioning gas stove and oven, a large fridge and freezer, cutting boards, pots and pans, silverware. We ended up cooking breakfast here and dinner a few times as well! My fianc and I ended up getting engaged down by the beach so we will always cherish our time here at Fort Bragg! Thank you!

The driftwood was absolutely amazing, very clean and cozy. The location was just as amazing. My husband, our dog and myself had a wonderful, relaxing, quiet time didnt even mind the pouring down rain that kept us inside most of the time. Well definitely be back.

My deposit was back in my account before I even got back to Sacramento. All the cleaners were super pleasant and helpful with suggestions. It's a delightful group you've got there, and we'll definitely be back.

Property
It was a lovely, quiet, comfortable, safe place to relax and unwind.

The Coastwood is the perfect family vacation home. The location is perfect its private yet still close to the beach and everything Fort Bragg has to offer. Its a good feeling when your family is just as excited to go to the beach as they are to come back to your home away from home. What makes it even better (yes it gets better) is grabbing the popcorn, snacks, and velvety soft blankets and snuggling your kiddos while watching a movie in the Coastwood's very own game room! My family and I hope that anybody who stays here enjoys it as much and even more then we do.

Staying at The Driftwood was the best experience! I wanted a solo getaway, and this made it possible. The trailer had everything I needed, and the location made it perfect for me as a visually impaired person. Having excellent restaurants just steps away, and a picture perfect dock to watch the sunsets made me feel right at home. I slept well on the queen bed, and snuggled comfortably on the couch at night. I 100% plan on coming back, and will stay longer next time!

The team does everything for you to make sure you have a clean place to stay and make sure they are available anytime. I have stayed at many Airbnb's, and not all are friendly, making a difference in making your stay comfortable. I love the staff and will be back. It's like a second home, and that's hard to come by.

Property
I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be right in the middle of all the excitement. You're close to the beach, and you get to hear the horn. You feel the wind and the fantastic smell of the harbor.

What a hidden gem. I almost don't want to write the review so that it's not booked the next time we want to go back. It was such a pleasure and great experience. Kids loved it and even the dog and grandma had a blast. Very clean, spacious and perfectly located. Walking distance to lots of fresh restaurants and some fun shopping. All amenities were great and beds were comfortable. We felt like we were glamping. Had a great time playing board games and roasting marshmallows by the fire.
