Nestled in unspoiled beauty of the Virgin Islands National Park, views across Cinnamon Bay Beach, Whistling Cay and out to the beaches of Jost Van Dyke and the B.V.I. are of indescribable beauty.
Leaving Cruz Bay an easy ten minute ride takes you to Catherineberg, a small uncrowded neighborhood of elegant homes. Island Stones is one of only two villas located on Bay Tree, a private dead end road. You will not see nor be seen by another villa and you will not hear road noise. But you will hear the soothing sounds of the surf at nearby Cinnamon Bay, your neighborhood beach.
Trunk Bay beach and Cinnamon offer swimming, snorkeling, hobbie cats, sunsails, windsurfing, and kayaking. Just minutes away in this north shore St John paradise you'll also find Hawksnest Beach, Maho Beach, and Francis Bay Beach.
Island Stones outdoor living areas are large and packed with amenities. The 40' long pool features a disappearing edge and a 140 sq ft 6" deep "Beach" area for sunbathing in the water. Within the pool are also two cocktail tables with two chairs built into the pool bottom. Nearby is the fully equipped covered Bar Terrace with refrigeration, gourmet grill, iPod stereo and bar tools. The surrounding sun deck is huge - 1200 sq ft. This area overlooks the pool where the disappearing edge seems to silently fall off right into the blue waters of Cinnamon Bay itself.
Featured on the Pool Terrace is also a covered Dining Terrace with outdoor seating for ten. Dine alfresco and be mesmerized by world famous island views out to the Caribbean Sea and dozens of islands and cays. A beautiful 300 sq ft trellis covered with flowering tropical plants provides shade for if sunbathing is not your preference. A stone outdoor powder room and outdoor shower offer additional outdoor convenience.
The Great Room is entered from the outdoor Dining Terrace or the Leeward Dining Terrace, your choice. The Living Room with 42" plasma tv, bar, gourmet kitchen, indoor dining room, and two king bed bedrooms are on the same level as the pool terrace.
St. John is a lovely and enchanting island that is noted for its unmatched natural beauty, its tranquil peacefulness and its outstanding homes and villas.
Clear, gleaming white sand beaches fringe the many bays scalloped out along St. the Northern shore, and the iridescent water is perfect for swimming.
The climate on St. John is considered to be one of the most ideal in the world with average daily temperatures of 82 degrees and a 5-7 degree variation from winter to summer months. Nights are always comfortably warm, even in winter months, and the air is never humid. Rainfall tends to come at night in brief but sudden showers, and rarely does a storm linger over the island for more than a day.

Our courteous and attentive St. John staff is on duty 7 days a week and will be pleased to advise or assist you in arranging any of the following activities: scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, sailing, windsurfing, power boating, kayaking, sportfishing, hiking in the National Park, horseback riding, tennis, water-skiing, parasailing (St. Thomas) and golf (St. Thomas).
