It isn't often that we have the opportunity to offer a private residence for rent with such extraordinary amenities, views and charming interiors. The Villa at Skyland Bay is a luxury lakefront property overlooking the azure waters of Lake Tahoe, the snowcapped peaks of the Sierra Nevada range and the emerald cover of the great Western forests.

When you first walk into this beautiful home you can't help noticing that the lake is the dominant part of the décor. A large living/family room with fireplace and large windows is adjacent to the kitchen/dining area, all rooms draped in French Country motifs, all rooms on the first level bathed in sunlight and panoramic lake views. There is a large deck area accessible via sliders from the kitchen/dining area. During summer months the patio is the perfect place to spend the afternoons, away from the heat of the Southern sun. Access to the lake is immediate. The home has its own boat dock, boat lift and a spectacular swimming area ringed by huge boulders emerging from the lake. This part of the home is sheltered from the westerly summer winds and thus an ideal place for enjoying calm waters. Swim or paddle to your heart's content. Bring your boat or sea-doos. You can fish from the pier; just make sure you have a current license.

Upstairs, there are four bedrooms and a family room as well as three baths. Another fireplace. The master suite has a jetted tub. Outside on the deck, overlooking the lake there is large hot tub.

The home sits on a cul de sac surrounded by multi-million dollar properties. It also has access to a Skyland Homeowner Beach across the street where young children can swim safely and play in the sand.

The home is located in Skyland, five miles from the Casinos at Stateline and the Heavenly Gondola. Just 17 Miles to all the shopping areas in Carson City and 48 miles from the Reno Airport.

Reservations: ALL reservations require a non-refundable guarantee of one night’s rent or $300.00, whichever is greater, unless cancelled within seven (7) days of making the reservation.
All reservations are subject to a $35.00 non-refundable fee.
RENT IS DUE 60 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, IN FULL. RENT IS DUE 90 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR HOLIDAYS.
CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN FORTY-FIVE DAYS OF THE DATE OF ARRIVAL ARE SUBJECT TO FULL FORFEITURE OF THE RENT.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
GUESTS ARE REQUIRED TO POST A CREDIT CARD VOUCHER (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover) at time of check-in, which will be held as security. If no additional charges, damages, or excess cleaning is incurred during the stay, the voucher will be destroyed 30 days after guest's departure. For certain high end properties, the guest is required to post a Security deposit of $2,000.00 on a credit card, said deposit to be held for 7 days after guest's departure at which time it will be refunded in full, subject to any guest caused damage or missing items.
*LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS (reservations made within 30 days of arrival) REQUIRE A NON-REFUNDABLE GUARANTEE, RENT IN FULL, UNLESS CANCELLED WITHIN 24 HRS. OF MAKING THE RESERVATION.
Keys: $25.00 IS CHARGED FOR LOST OR UNRETURNED KEYS.
Check-in: For all reservations, check-in is 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Selective Properties located at 188 Highway 50, corner with Elk Point Road.

ONLY “PAID-IN-FULL” RESERVATIONS WILL BE ENTITLED TO ARRANGE FOR LATE CHECK-IN.
Check-Out: is 10:00 AM. If for some reason you need to extend your check-out time and the unit is not booked, we have a special one-half day charge. Please call the rental office to make any late check-out arrangements.
Office Hours: For your convenience our office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday..
Cleaning: All privately owned properties are considered Housekeeping Units. A departure cleaning fee is charged on each reservation. Guests are required to tidy-up and leave the unit in a neat and orderly manner. Routine cleaning after a guest departs includes kitchen and bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting and linen change. Any Excess cleaning which needs to be done will be performed at an additional charge. Daily maid service is available upon request, and arrangements can be made by calling the rental office.
No Pets: are allowed in most of the lodgings. Please call the office at 800-242-5387 to find out WHICH properties accept poets and under what conditions.
Maximum Occupancy: rules will be strictly enforced. If the allowed number of occupants for the unit is exceeded, they will be liable for additional rent which would be charged to their credit card or deducted from their security deposit or they may be asked to vacate the unit.
Telephones: are available in the units for your convenience for local calls within the Stateline-South Lake Tahoe area. Long distance calls are restricted and guests must use a credit card or telephone credit card to place calls in available long distance calling areas. Guests accepting collect long distance calls to the unit will be charged a $10.00 service fee per call.
Parking: Limited to onsite parking only.
Firewood: Most units are not provided with firewood. It can be obtained from local markets at reasonable rates.
Beach Access: During summer months guests will have access to Round Hill Pines Beach Club. A nominal parking fee is required.
