Our two bedroom moutainside condo at Gold Dust Condominiums (pictured above) sits less than 300 yards from the main lifts at Angel Fire Ski Resort. Angel Fire is New Mexico's premier family ski mountain with the only two high speed quad lifts in New Mexico, 72 runs, and 2,150' vertical drop. Highly regarded Children's Ski School, several half-pipe and snowboard parks, and 19 km of Nordic trails at the summit add to the mountain's popularity. Low ski season visits plus the capacity of the quad lifts insures no wait lines and open trails (pictured to your right). Low and mid-season ski rates are negotiable; please inquire.
Master bedroom with full bath sleeps two in queen-size style; second bedroom with full bath sleeps two in twin beds; comfortable pull-out sofa and pull-out over-stuffed chair sleep three in Great Room (with half bath) in front of the fireplace. 2 1/2 baths insure privacy and comfort for all guests. Fully equipped kitchen with eat-in counter(pictured above) includes full size refrigerator; full size electric range and oven; dishwasher; microwave; and coffee maker; dishware, cookware, and utensils plus a separate dining area. Fireplace, with firewood at the door, and cable TV insure cozy evenings apres-ski.
A gourmet restuarant, The Roasted Clove (photo to right), a Chinese restaurant, and a pizza parlor (delivery also available) are within one block of our condo. Several other restaurants and the Angel Fire Resort are within easy two block walking distance. Conveniently located on North Angel Fire Road at Vail Road, the post office, library, and Village Market are all within one mile.
During summer and fall, attractions include modest alpine temperatures and virtually no humidity; 18 hole PGA approved golf course nestled in the Ponderosa Pines at 8000'; balloon festival; mountain bike riding and races; trail rides; hiking; fishing; and the Angel Fire Music Festival (end of August each season). Come to Angel Fire and escape the hot, humid summer weather for a weekend, a week, or a month! Seniors welcome. |

Downhill Skiing -- 72 trails with the only two high speed quad lifts in New Mexico; large snowmaking capacity; snowboards permitted. Three other ski mountains (Taos, Red River, Sipapu) are within easy driving distance.
Nordic Skiing -- 19 km of groomed trails at the summit (11,000 feet); Enchanted Forest Nordic Area with 60 km of wooded trails is 30 miles.
Golf -- Beautiful PGA approved course nestled in the Ponderosa Pines (8,000'); dry conditions with mild spring/summer/fall temperatures that rarely exceed 80 degrees (F) at the height of summer.
Fishing: excellent trout fishing in many lakes and streams nearby.
Horseback Riding -- by the hour; by the day; overnight.
Mountain Biking Trails over the ski mountain terrain with many mountain biking races and events throughout the summer.
