Regarding PETS: We LOVE and welcome your pet, but have found (from recent experience), that they require extra housekeeping. If you have a pet, please let us know FIRST, then add the "pet rent" of $15.00 per night, per pet, to your cottage total. A $150 pet deposit is required and will be FULLY REFUNDED if no damage occurs. Luckily, we live in Oregon where there are NO state taxes, and no other "hidden" fees, so what you see, is what we charge.

"Relaxing, comfortable, WONDERFUL Vacation! We had a BLAST and the owners are VERY helpful! They helped us find all kinds of "local" stuff to do and provided us with all kinds of fresh fruits and veggies from their organic gardens. SUCH A TREAT! We've already reserved two weeks for next year! Thank you Susanna & the Blue Feather! We can't wait to get back!"
"I am a bed-snob and have got to tell you that the Queen Bed in the Blue FEather was the MOST comfortable bed I've EVER been in! AND really nice sheets! We celebrated our second honeymoon at the Blue Feather Cottage and it was just PERFECT! The owners are gracious, but they insure privacy. They live on the same property, but you'd never know it. There is acreage between the cottage and the house, and you have your own private entrance that faces an incredible peach orchard! This place is truly too beautiful to describe and we plan to come back & make the Blue Feather Cottage our Honeymoon spot EVERY year!"
"GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!! I can't say enough about our stay at the Blue Feather Cottage ~ I slept like a log, and the place is truly more beautiful than the pictures of it on the website. Private, comfey and has everything you'll need to feel at home. We especially enjoyed the nice BBQ set-up and the owners left a basket of assorted fresh veggies (organic and just picked, mind you), on our doorstep! They were so yummy on the grill. We'll be back next year. THANK YOU Wood family! It was such a nice experience and truly, the space is "magical."
"We are history buffs and picked the Blue Feather Cottage for it's historical significance. John Beeson worked with President Lincoln in attempts to save the local Native American populations of the Rogue Valley. This property is so beautiful and private. It was such a retreat for us and Ashland is just 5 minutes away! It was a wonderful experience and we'll be back!"
"The Blue Feather Cottage is all the Ad says and MUCH more! We will be back next year when we visit my sister! GREAT PLACE. We told all of our friends about it, then got worried that they'll all want to stay there and we won't be able to get reservations next year! This was the BEST vacation we've ever had. I spent half of my time going to shows, and the other half swinging on the porch, reading. You'll love this place...we do!"
"Beautiful and KID FRIENDLY!" The cottage is fully furnished, but didn't have a pie-pan and we wanted to bake a blackberry pie (there are loads of blackberries in the surrounding areas and Susanna invited us to pick from the fruit trees and vines that are around us), so I called her and asked if we could borrow a pie pan. She came over loaded with stuff - pie pan, rolling pin, butter, spices and flour) and I was able to bake with my 2 little girls! They loved picking, then baking and EATING the pies! Thank you, Susanna & Chloe ~ We loved our time at your cottage and plan to visit again next year!
