This warm and cozy French Country home makes you feel like
you stepped into Provence on a California beach! A beautiful
cottage only steps from the sand in a quaint beachside
community makes for a wonderful relaxing vacation for the
entire family. After walking through a charming arbor you are
greeted by a tranquil fountain and beautiful landscaping at our
freshly painted cottage.
The decor sets the stage at this three bedroom two bath retreat
complete with wireless internet, cable TV and DVD player,
landscaped private patio with BBQ along with board games
and books. There are beach toys for the kids and body boards
for the entire family to enjoy at one of California's most renown
surf beaches! The house comes with a fully equipped kitchen, a
two car garage, and a washer and dryer, complete with linens
and bath towels.
The master bedroom with adjoining private bath, as well as the
guest bedroom are both decorated with a French touch;
inviting, warm and charming. The kids wil love their room too
with an added touch of whimsy. And no sharing a bathroom,
you have your own and the kids can have theirs!
Mandalay Shores is a beautiful residential community with
easy access to local stores and shops, harbor activities and
day excursions to the islands along with a gorgeous park with
meandering walkways and bike paths. The beautiful wide white
sandy beach is only a 1/2 block stroll from your vacation home!
Mandalay Shores is conveniently located just 30 miles south of
Santa Barbara where many of the "rich and famous" call home.
After enjoying a day of Santa Barbara's restaurants, museums,
history and beauty, continue your drive into the Santa Ynez
Wine Country ("Sideways") or try your luck at the Chumash
Casino.
The French Country cottage is so conveniently located! Take in
the glamour and sights of Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Malibu and
Venice Beach just 65 minutes to the south. Or a 2 minute drive
will take you to the Channel Islands Harbor where you can go
sailing, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, whale watching ... you
name it, it's all right here. That's what we call "French Country at
the Beach!"
