Tropic Ten is ideally located at the north end of Gasparilla Island on Boca Grande's best beach. In addition to enjoying the soothing breezes and sugar sand at Tropic Ten you may also want to catch some of the world's best fishing. Depending on the season, tarpon, snook, pompano and many other species can be caught directly off the beach or just up the beach in Gasparilla pass.
Boca Grande is located in the midst of the most beautiful blue water in Florida (maybe in the world). Gated access, via the Boca Grande Causeway, enhances the island's privacy and charm. Tropic Ten is located directly on the island's most pristine strand of white sand beach.
Tropic Ten is also just a short walk to Uncle Henry's Marina with boat slips of all sizes, boat and kayak rental, bait, tackle, fishing charters, book store, hair salon, liquor store, grocery store and restaurant.
Within an easy spin down the bike path is downtown Boca Grande, with a wide variety of upscale shops and restaurants, bank, post office, medical clinic and churches.
Tropic Ten is also just a short drive to major grocery and discount stores, a mall with major retailers, restaurants and a multi-plex theater, and the Mote Marine Aquarium featuring dolphins, manatees, sea turtles and many other local sea creatures.
Golfers will be challenged by over dozen golf courses within the immediate area and nature lovers can set sail on dolphin watching cruises and guided eco-tours.
At the northern end of the "pirate islands", Boca Grande is a boater's paradise. It's just a quick boat trip to many "boat only" destinations such as Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa and North Captiva.
Boca Grande, Florida is centrally located to take full advantage of the activities Southwest Florida is famous for: approximately 20 miles west of I75. Easy access by limo, taxi or rental car is afforded from airports in Tampa, Sarasota and Ft. Myers. |
