Beautifully restored and landscaped, Harrison House Suites Bed and Breakfast is a premier lodging destination for all travelers to San Juan Island. We offer a unique approach to lodging incorporating old world charm with contemporary conveniences in this one of a kind historic Friday Harbor residence. Enjoy a spectacular view of the town of Friday Harbor, and the harbor itself, from this hilltop retreat conveniently located just one and half blocks from the ferry landing.
Fully furnished private suites with all the amenities of home, including private baths and well-stocked kitchens, sleep 2-10 adults and extended families in comfort. The suites have an atmosphere of relaxation and comfort - your home away from home. Our flower gardens and tastefully decorated grounds offer a superb atmosphere for your getaway. Delicious and carefully prepared gourmet breakfasts can be delivered directly to your suite or enjoyed in our relaxing café. Afternoon tea awaits you after a day of one of many activities San Juan and the surrounding islands have to offer. Fabulous dinners, event catering, and corporate retreats can also be arranged.

San Juan Suite
(sleeps 10 maximum)
This spacious (1650 sq. ft.) three bedroom, two bath "home" is full of old world charm including hardwood floors, a formal dining room with elegant crystal chandelier and leaded glass built-ins, and a cozy woodstove in the large family room. Off the dining room, is a large eat-in kitchen. The suite also boasts a well tuned piano for your enjoyment.
The San Juan suite sleeps a large family or is perfectly suited for several couples traveling together. This suite is accessible from ground level and features two baths - one with a tub and a second with a walk-in shower. The 35' private deck is accessible to the barbecue and hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the partial views of town, the port, and the harbor.

Lopez Suite

Enjoy exquisite views of the islands, harbor, port and town from this second floor two bedroom suite. The four room Lopez Site has nearly 800 sq. ft. complete with a living room and full kitchen. The windows, sky light, and viewing-deck enhance the bright, open feel of this beautiful suite.

Orcas Suite

Nicknamed our 'honeymoon suite', the Orcas Suite enjoys exquisite views of the water, sunrise and sunset, marine labs, and outer islands. The deck features a private hot tub. Complete with fireplace, mini-kitchen, private bath with jetted tub, and tasteful furnishings, this roomy suite is the perfect romantic hideaway.

Shaw Suite
(sleeps 4 maximum)
This cozy studio suite decorated in a nautical theme features a full kitchen equipped with a Jenn Air cook top, microwave and convection oven. It has a private bath with a walk-in shower, an elevated platform bed, and a day bed that opens up into two twin beds. This suite is easily accessible from the parking lot.

Roche Harbor Cottage
(sleeps 4 maximum)
The Roche Harbor Cottage is a one bedroom suite situated in a separate building with its own private entrance across from the main house. It offers a light and airy galley kitchen, living room with fireplace, and private hot tub off the back deck. The front deck overlooks the beautiful wild-flower and winter annuals garden.

The San Juan Islands of Washington State are located approximately 150 miles north of Seattle in the midst of the great ocean inlet formed by the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Puget Sound, and the Strait of Georgia. They consist of a cluster of picturesque islands with rocky shorelines that are covered in dense forests and rolling farmlands, of which San Juan Island is one of the largest. An average of 247 days of sunshine, half the rain of Seattle, Washington, make the San Juan Islands the perfect year-round getaway! San Juan Island is the most diverse of the three main islands, combining rocky shores and sandy beaches, prairie and pastureland, lakes and forests.
The San Juan and surrounding islands offer a large range of activities to please a wide variety of interests. We offer the complimentary use of mountain bikes and kayaks for touring the island by land or water. Spend your days exploring the underwater environment scuba diving or watching our pods of Orca Whales. The islands are home to three resident pods of over 80 Orca Whales which can be spotted year round in and around the Haro Straights and from many vantage points on San Juan Island.
