Property Information |

This is a log sided chalet style furnished 2 bedroom property with 2 baths, laundry, full kitchen, DirecTV, and all linens, furnishings, ware, and items necessary for a relaxing vacation available. There is a large 16 foot by 24 foot deck that hangs over the waterfront. The house is located on a semi-private 1/2 acre lot along the shores of Crawford Lake that is accessible only via a private road.
There is a nice dock leading to a sandy-bottomed waterfront great for wading kids and dogs. The water at the edge of the shore is shallow and sandy making it a great place for small children to wade and play in the water. However, there are stairs that lead into the water, so children should be comforatble around stairs.
Sit watching loons go by in the hammock or enjoy the great swimming right off the dock.
Upstairs (1)- Large King Suite with a pull out futon. Full bath with a jacuzzi tub/shower (toilet & sink) and W/D.
Downstairs (1)-This bedroom has two twin beds just off the kitchen. Between the two is a full bath containing a shower stall.
Bunk House (1)-Located 30 feet from the house by stone path is a queen bed, desk and phone.
The "bunkhouse" is a nice retreat for a couple wishing privacy from the "crowd" in the main house and has been quite popular in the past at our other properties.
Crawford is well known for Bass fishing and number of loon families. The lake is the only lake in the area that has no public access, so on most days, you can have your choice of coves to go fishing in.
The property has an expansive waterfront access with incredible views to the west promising mid-day sun as well as spectacular sunrises.
Please remember there are alot of stairs at this property, so if you aren't comfortable around stairs, this may not be a good property for you. |

The property is 12 miles west of Camden and Rockland, home of the World famous Lobster Festival. Each year in Union, there is the Maine Antiques Show and the Union Fair - both in August. Nearby is Union village, host of the oldest Common in the state. You can read more about the history of Union in the popular novel, "Come Spring".
There is a large grocery store and restaurant that serves a breakfast (Come Spring Cafe'). While in a rural location, the property is less than 5 minutes to several stores offering pizza, movie rentals, and other necessities. |
