The home’s clean lines, myriads of windows and modern architecture draws you into its very spacious, bright interior accentuated by soaring ceilings, gleaming bleached hardwoods and tasteful white shiplap. The living space, anchored by a decorative fireplace, offers the perfect spot for great conversations, enjoyable game playing or quiet relaxation. The adjacent dining area is spacious and provides access to an oversize side screen porch with another complete dining set (just steps from the outdoor kitchen) and an additional comfortable sitting area-so you can choose to enjoy meals inside or al fresco. The kitchen’s huge marble island boasts more seating (for five) at the breakfast bar and plenty of prep room for multiple chefs. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. Paddle boards, surfing boards, bicycles, bicycle accessories for children, beach chairs and umbrellas, and kayaks can be rented on the island at local businesses.

The Bald Head Island Club has a fitness center, pool/water park, tennis, golf, croquet and dining. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Bald Head Island Club membership attached.

The Shoals Club has a fitness room, pool, dining, private beach access with chairs and umbrellas available. Temporary memberships are available for separate purchase if your rental home has a Shoals Club membership attached.

The Bald Head Island Conservancy has summer camps, turtle nesting programs, guided kayak tours, island nature tours, birding tours, fishing school, and environmental/nature activities for adults and children.

The Old Baldy Foundation provides Island historic tours; climb Old Baldy Lighthouse, visit the museum.
