    Yellowstone
Since it opened over 135 years ago, little has changed at Yellowstone. The world's first national park, is also one of the largest – 2.2 million acres of mysterious bubbling ponds, gushing geysers, deep canyons, thundering waterfalls, sparkling lakes, and breathtaking panoramic vistas. Yellowstone encompasses over 3,472 square miles of untrammeled landscape and geological wonders more spectacular than words can describe. A visit to Yellowstone is truly an experience of a lifetime. Its wild mountain terrain preserves one of the largest remaining intact wild ecosystems on Earth. Referred to by many as North America's Serengeti, Yellowstone is home to 35,000 elk, 2,500 bison, 400 grizzlies, and 290 different bird species. The gray wolf, bald eagle and lynx, can also be spotted by keen-eyed visitors.

Come see Old Faithful in all it's glory, erupting almost every hour. There are also 290 waterfalls, over 300 geysers and 950 miles of hiking trails to experience on your adventure. And in winter you can explore the snow-covered landscape via dog sled, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and horse-drawn sleigh riding. Definitely, not your typical tour bus vacation.

    Grand Teton National Park
Located in northwestern Wyoming just south of Yellowstone National Park and just north of the town of Jackson, Grand Teton National Park has over 3.5 million visitors in a year. Just roughly 11 miles south of Yellowstone, many visitors take the opportunity to experience the wonders of both parks.

The centerpiece of the park is indisputably the spiked peaks and sheer escarpment of the Teton Range. The park includes some 37 named peaks, 20 of which exceed an altitude of 10,000 feet. The Teton Mountain Range dominates the park's skyline with the largest peak, the Grand Teton, rising 13,770 feet from the valley floor.

The park also contains a number of beautiful lakes at the foot of the mountains, such as Leigh Lake. 230 miles of trails encircle the lakes, meander into the mountains, and explore many other areas of the park.

Arguably North America's most spectacular mountain range, due to its dramatic crystalline peaks and the lack of foothills obstructing the view, the Grand Teton mountain range is very popular among climbers, hikers and photographers. Grand Teton National Park offers camping, boating, and kayaking, all amid the stunning backdrop of mountain scenery and diverse array of wildlife.
