This home is centrally located to enjoy a lot of the amazing things that make New Orleans such a great place to visit. The Lafitte Greenway is close by for bike riding, and after a day exploring the city, relax on the balcony while enjoying your company and a nice beverage! Our home is also steps away from the Endymion and Zulu Mardi Gras parades! We provide a digital guidebook for all our guests with insider tips and restaurants, nightlife, and attractions recommendations. *Important: Our properties are protected by AutoHost - a globally recognized trust and safety company that allows hosts and guests to confidently transact. -Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted via email by AutoHost to complete your booking validation, which includes ID verification and deposit collection.• Normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. For check-in's from 12:30pm - 4:00pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. Check-in's before 12:30pm would require booking the previous night at a much discounted rate. Contact host for details. Exterior cameras present for verification of guest occupancy. *Important* Please park only on the side of the house that is for this property and in the back of the house. Any cars found parked on the neighbor's side of the parking area or in the grass will be fined and towed. Street parking is not guaranteed and if you choose to utilize street parking please be sure to follow city and state laws. Our space is not handicapped accessible or ADA compliant

Access

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit (entire second floor of a two story duplex) including living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, laundry, parking, and shared backyard. Note this home is a duplex and the entire bottom is occupied by other residents while the entire upper floor is the space being offered. *Important* Please park only on the side of the house that is for this property and in the back of the house. Any cars found parked on the neighbor's side of the parking area or in the grass will be fined and towed.

Transit

Public Transit: The Famous Canal St. Streetcar line is just 4 blocks away and will take you directly to the French Quarter/Downtown (or City Park!) in about 15 minutes for $1.25/ride per person or $3 for a day pass. The nearest bus stop is a block away on the corner of Dorgenois and Tulane. Hop on Bus 3 which will take you to Canal and Claiborne. From there its a quick 9 minute walk down Canal to experience many famous restaurants and bars including Red Fish Grill right on Bourbon! (Streetcar is also on Canal if you don't feel like walking!) Driving: We are about a 5 minute drive to the French Quarter/Downtown area. Ride Sharing: Uber/Lyft are $5-7 to and from the French Quarter/Downtown. All of our guests will receive new user Uber and Lyft Promo Codes! Airport Transportation: We also have partnered with a local Transportation company to offer discounted transportation to/from the Airport! Street parking is not guaranteed and if you choose to utilize street parking please be sure to follow city and state laws.

North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure.
