Property Description

Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized using properly rated disinfectant for COVID-19, as outlined by the WHO.

Completely renovated condo right off Magazine Street in the heart of the Lower Garden District awaits you! Steps to some of the best bars, restaurants, and shops in the city, our condo gives you that great neighborhood vibe while still being just a stone's throw from all the action downtown.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our property and live right around the corner and are always ready to assist with any issues as they arise.
There is a ring doorbell camera to monitor occupancy (legal limit of 2 guests) and ensure there are no parties (which are illegal in short term rentals in New Orleans).

Normal check-in time is 4pm on the arrival date. For check-in's from 12:30pm - 4:00pm, it's an extra $50 to have an extra cleaner assist with servicing the property. Check-in before 12:30pm would require booking the previous night at a much discounted rate. Contact host for details.

Per CDC Guidelines, and in response to Covid 19, we have updated our cleaning procedures to reduce the possibility of contracting Covid 19, and to ensure that the spaces our guests are staying in remains up to standard and as clean as possible.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire space - Living room, Kitchen, Bathroom, the bedroom, and balcony.

Transit

Public Transit:
The Famous St. Charles Streetcar line is blocks away and will take you directly to the French Quarter/Downtown in about 15 minutes for $1.25/ride per person or $3 for a day pass.

The number 11 bus line is also right around the corner!

Driving:
We are about a 5 minute drive to the French Quarter/Downtown area.

Ride Sharing:
Uber/Lyft are $5-7 to and from the French Quarter/Downtown. All of our guests will receive new user Uber and Lyft Promo Codes!

Airport Transportation:
We also have partnered with a local Transportation company to offer discounted transportation to/from the Airport!

While we likely won't see you in person during your stay we are available as needed to assist with any questions you may have and have even curated a custom guidebook with all of the best eateries, bars/nightlife, and things to do in the city. Stately neoclassical mansions, cool cafes, eclectic eateries and homey pubs line oak-shaded streets in the charming Lower Garden District. Handmade jewelry, local antiques and vintage Mardi Gras costumes are on sale at the monthly Little Flea NOLA market, while a stretch of Magazine Street has antiques shops and clothing boutiques. Tiny parks like Annunciation Square and Coliseum Square are local gathering spots.

Awesome place, great location, very cool porch. super comfy bed. I highly recommend this apartment! It's also next door to my fav NOLA coffee and salad place, Hi Volt Coffee. One note. If you can't climb stairs this great place will not work for you.

Whenever we visit New Orleans, the Garden District near Magazine Street is our favorite place to spend a few nights. On this trip we stayed in a second floor condo on the busy corner of St. Mary and Camp Streets. It is convenient to great restaurants, the St Charles Avenue cable car into the French Quarter, and the open-top City Sightseeing Bus Tour that runs along Magazine. The apartment is quiet, but out on the balcony you can see and hear the busy street life below. It is a perfect place to start the morning with coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine.Almost directly beneath us was the lively Half Moon Bar & Grill, from which we got excellent take-out pizza. Our apartment, however, was a peaceful place . The unit itself is beautifully vintage with all the important modern touches. It was also impeccably clean and freshly decorated.

The condo is spacious with high, sloped ceilings, a lg bdrm and spacious living rm that has attractive leather furniture. I enjoyed hanging out there and felt rather at home. The balcony is quite lg w/ beautiful wrought-iron railings. There is a good coffee shop a few steps from the condo and the streetcar is a mere 8-min walk. My lone gripe was that although the communication was prompt, I didn't think it was responsive. For ex., it being a few wks after Ida and there being reports of issues w/ trash p/u, I asked if there was trash p/u at the condo/in the neighborhood and if local businesses in the vicinity had reopened, and in response was told that there were guests staying at the condo--not responsive to the question. All in all, this was one of the nicest Air BnB's I've ever stayed in and I'd recommend it if you don't want to stay in the Quarter, but want to be fairy close to it and generally centrally located.
