“The Coolest Celebration on Earth!” has a rich history dating back to 1886. In fact, in 1888 the ice castle was the tallest building in Saint Paul standing nearly 14 stories tall and using more that 20,000 blocks of ice. More recently, the 1992 ice palace was the tallest on record in the world standing 15 stories high. Join the fun with the best Winter Carnival in the nation complete with Ice Sculptures, Snow Sculptures, Frozen 5K and Half Marathon, Parades and so much more.
