The United States Golf Association (USGA) has selected the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland as the host of this year's U.S. Open golf tournament. The US Open is an annual golf tournament in the United States which first took place in 1895 at the Newport Country Club in Newport, Rhode Island, and is traditionally held on Father's Day weekend.
