Step inside the inviting living room of Cubs Creek and take a load off. Unwind on the leather sofa and love seat, relax in the chair while propping your feet on the ottoman, and flip of the new 4K flat screen TV with DVD player while you hang out. The coffee table is large enough for snacks, drinks, or cards, and tabletop lamps offer the perfect light for cracking open that book on a laid-back afternoon. Little ones can crawl around on the rug as you chat, make plans for the week, and catch up with family and friends.
Gatlinburg offers many great restaurants where you can dine in or grab takeout, but sometimes you want to make your own meals – including when you want to save more money for fun attractions. The kitchen in Antler Hill is well equipped to take care of your group, with recessed lighting, dishes and glassware, utensils, cooking tools, and full-size appliances in all black.
Make coffee in the mornings, blend a smoothie, toss some bagels in the toaster, keep fresh fudge cool in the refrigerator, warm up leftovers in the microwave, and take advantage of the oven/stovetop for bigger meals. When you’re done, toss everything in the dishwasher for easy cleanup and spend more time enjoying your stay.
The dining table near the living room and kitchen seats 6, perfect for your whole group. Enjoy holiday feasts, easy lunches, pizza delivery, or snack buffets here. And when it’s not mealtime, use this spacious table to play cards or break out the board games! From cookies to crafts to candlelit dinners, this table offers space for any type of vacation.
It’s game time at Cubs Creek! Make your way to the rec room in your private home, located on the third level. Here you can hang out on the plush sofa in front of the flatscreen TV with DVD player, play checkers, cozy up by the electric fireplace, shoot some pool, or try your hand at the classic stand up LED arcade console with 60 games straight from the 80s.
There is even extra sleeping space here, with a sleeper sofa perfect for kids’ sleepovers. While there are plenty of arcades and ways to play downtown, this will be your go-to spot when you don’t want to get out of the house (or your pajamas). A bathroom is also easily accessible on the third level.
When you do want to get out to play, take a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg for arcades, mini golf, laser tag, go karts, old-time photos, a world-class aquarium, unique attractions like the Ripley’s family of attractions, and plenty of arcades to check out!
Ready to call it a night? The 2 bedrooms at Cubs Creek will be your own private retreats. There are 2 bedrooms on the second level, each with a private bathroom, inviting gas fireplace, and balcony for some fresh air. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a flat screen TV, while the other bedroom here offers a queen-size bed.
What’s a trip to the Great Smoky Mountains without some great outdoor spaces? Start with the peaceful stream running in front of the property, giving you that truly serene mountain setting. Then enjoy the deck, where you can read a good book in the porch swing, start your days with coffee in the rocking chairs, or end the evening chatting on the covered deck.
The outdoor spaces also boast a lovely gazebo, complete with rocking chairs, a grill for cookouts on nice days, and a hot tub where you can soak those tired muscles after long days exploring downtown Gatlinburg or hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
The cabin also offers a washer and dryer in the cabin, making it easy to wash pool towels or hiking clothes after a long day.
Cubs Creek is just ½ mile from the Chalet Village community amenities, which include 3 clubhouses, pools, game tables, playgrounds, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis courts, and more!
