Lookout Mountain is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a little bit over an hour from Gatlinburg. It is interesting and educational for both adults and children. Here, you can also search for gorgeous, semi-precious stones. At Rock City, visitors can try to pass through challenging pathways of formations supposedly millions of years old. Then, track through the Enchanted Trail, marveling at flora while keeping an eye out for the rare white Fallow deer. Travelers might also love the Fairyland Caverns and Mother Goose Village with displays of popular fairy tales.

Finally, head over to “America’s Most Amazing Mile” at the Incline Railway. A National Historic Site since 1895, you may sit in trolley-style cars that ride to the top of Lookout Mountain.
