What an amazing first trip to Anna Maria Island. We’ve been to quite a few places in Florida over the years, but this little hidden gem completely stole our hearts. From the second we walked in, this house felt like the perfect beach getaway. The decor gave the cutest coastal vibe and instantly put everyone in vacation mode. The pool absolutely deserves its own paragraph because it was basically the main character of this trip. It got used nonstop all week long. Between relaxing floats, pool basketball tournaments and watching our 8 month old little munchkin splash around with the kids floats, so many of our favorite memories happened right there. The pool alarm definitely startled us a few times at first but honestly we ended up appreciating the extra safety feature especially with a baby around. Future toddler parents will definitely thank you.One of the biggest surprises was how comfortable everything was. The large beds were such a luxury because nobody had to fight for space or end up stuck on a tiny twin bed. The house was incredibly well stocked too. Plenty of blankets, pillows, kitchen supplies, appliances, and everything we needed to actually cook meals at home instead of eating out constantly. We especially loved having the grill for family dinners after long beach days. The location could not have been better. Close to the beach and shops! We made so many special memories! We were able to relax and spend quality time together! Hope to return soon!!

Reading this made us smile, Kelly! There's something special about a first trip to AMI, and we're honored that A Charming Beach Cottage on Elm by AMI Locals got to be part of yours. It sounds like the island worked its magic and completely won your family over. We're glad the pool alarm ended up providing a little extra peace of mind with your little one around. Those safety features may surprise you at first, but they're worth their weight in gold when toddlers enter the picture. It also sounds like you settled right into island life with family dinners on the grill, beach days, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Those are the moments that turn a vacation into memories you'll be talking about for years. We hope this was just the first of many trips to AMI, and we'd love to welcome your family back whenever you're ready for another island memories.

The house was amazing!! We have two boys, so they loved the backyard. Kept them constantly busy with putt-putt and the pool. My parents stayed upstairs and we stayed on the main with the boys. Everyone had a place and plenty of room.

Lindsey

Now that sounds like a fun family setup, Lindsey! We’re so glad A Charming Beach Cottage on Elm by AMI Locals was a hit for everyone. Between the pool and putt-putt, that backyard is basically a built-in playground—no wonder the boys stayed busy! And having space for everyone to spread out while still being together is what makes those trips extra special. We’d love to have your crew back anytime for more island fun!
