"Kokomo", island life at its best. We are located on South Bald Head Wynd, in a cul de sac with spectacular ocean views. Our home has 5 bedrooms and an additional sleeping area! The first floor is an open plan, with the kitchen, dining area and living room. Two master king suites are also available, as well as a half-bath. Two more bedrooms are located upstairs, along with two bathrooms. The first bedroom is equipped with two twin beds, while the second bedroom features two queens along with two twins. We have a brand-new two-story crofter outside. We have a king-size bed and bathroom upstairs. The crofter downstairs has a living/tv area and a twin-sized bed. The crofter would be perfect for a second family who wants privacy but still wants to be close to the main home. The crofter and the main house are connected by a large deck/grill area. Enjoy the privacy of the back yard or the breathtaking views from the front porch, from the rockers and hammock. We offer a variety of outdoor living options. We have two six-passenger golf carts and wifi. We also have access to the BHI and Shoals clubs with a separate membership.
Home includes: Gas grill, highchair, pack and play (for babies), crockpot with Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker. Kayak and 4 beach chairs are also included.
We cannot guarantee that the ice maker or water dispenser will be operational in the rental.

Home is in a great location-across the street from the beach, 3 minutes to market and restaurants. Home was clean, and having 2 golf carts was really convenient. New house being built next door but thank goodness we're early risers so the construction noise didn't bother us (they arrived at 7 am each morning). Having laundry and all pots/pans in kitchen greatly appreciated. Would definitely rent Kokomo again for location, size, and friendliness of islanders.

We had a large family group stay at Kokomo and the house worked beautifully for us. Plenty of space to spread out. Lovely front porch to view the ocean and an expansive back deck to enjoy a cookout or morning breakfast. Bald Head Island Services (BHIS) does a great job welcoming you to the island with emails that share detailed information on check-in, club reservations and tram reservations. We look forward to booking Kokomo in the future and love working with BHIS.

Plenty of space for two young families and grandparents. Cousins loved the giant bunk room. Great location with quick access to market & Shoals. Walkable beach access too!

We had a wonderful time at Kokomo. The house was perfect for our needs. We were able to house several generations in one house with the layout. The courtyard was perfect for gatherings with our friends from other beach houses. Wonderful location on the island as well!
Amazing stay in paradise

Kokomo was an amazing place to stay for our friend group annual reunion. I reached out to Bald Head Island Services several times before and during the trip and the responses were always prompt and helpful. The house was even nicer than in the pictures: the bedspreads shown in photos (patchwork, polka dots, etc.) have been replaced with crisp, white linens, and the striped couches in the living room have been covered with navy slipcovers. This gives the house an overall elevated look and was a pleasant surprise from the photos! The house was well equipped with items not included in the description: there were several bikes and several beach chairs, although the house description only listed 2 of each. The outdoor space has an outdoor table and chairs that were not in the photos where we enjoyed several meals and evenings together. The pictures also don't do justice to the view of the beach and the closeness of the rental to the beach itself. All of this together made us so pleasantly surprised by the rental and we will definitely return in the future!

The house was absolutely perfect! It was very spacious and had plenty of sleeping room. The outside deck provided a space for entertainment and it provided so much room for all of our friends and family. It was nothing short of amazing!! BHI services was extremely helpful at all times as well!

Kokomo was a great house for my large family! We loved the layout of all the bedrooms and the crafter is beautiful and spacious. We hung Edison lights over the back deck and served dinner there every night and then we moved to the comfy front porch to end the evening. A short walk to the beach and beautiful views!

Kokomo was spotless when we arrived! I was super impressed with the open communication with the rental company. Checking in and out was seamless, and they even gave us a heads up someone was coming to pick up trash for the owners. Would definitely book this home again for our large blended family!

Great house and location - everything we needed. Beautiful crofter - perhaps the nicest crofter we have rented on the BHI - ideal for a second couple. Highly recommend - especially if you have adults and children and need extra space.

Great house, really good sized bedrooms and plenty of space for everyone. Really liked how each bedroom had its own private bathroom. Really good central location on the isle and, and great ocean views. GREAT porch for happy hour. Really just one complaint - the TV's in the bedrooms hadn't been setup yet (except for one), so we wasted time trying to get them to work, and it never happened. Other than that, everything was pretty much perfect. Oh, but the bikes all had flats or something else wrong with them, so we couldn't use those. We also liked that there were 2 outdoor showers.
