Welcome to Garrett’s Getaway! A charming lakefront cabin nestled on the shores of beautiful Watauga Lake in Butler, Tennessee.

With a private dock, easy lake access, game room, fire pit, and three levels of living space, Garrett’s Getaway is the perfect retreat for families and friends looking to relax, reconnect, and enjoy life on the water. Thoughtfully designed with a bedroom and bathroom on each level, the cabin offers both comfort and privacy while keeping the lake just steps away.

The cozy main level features a well-equipped kitchen and inviting living room, creating a warm gathering space after a day of adventure. Curl up by the fire, stream your favorite shows with Sling Blue on the TV, or simply unwind and enjoy the cabin atmosphere. A queen bedroom and full hallway bathroom complete this level.

Upstairs, the lofted bedroom offers a full bed and a private bathroom, while the open loft area provides additional flexible space for reading, relaxing, or catching up on a favorite book.

The lower level is dedicated to fun and entertainment. Challenge friends and family to a game of foosball, enjoy the pinball machine, or gather around the TV. A handcrafted black walnut bar with an ice maker makes it easy to keep drinks and snacks close at hand. The third bedroom is found on this level with a full bath right near by. The living space opens directly onto the patio, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.

Outside, a scenic stone pathway winds down to the lake, where the peaceful beauty of Watauga Lake awaits. Spend your days swimming, fishing, paddling, or simply soaking in the views from the private dock and boat slip. As evening falls, gather around the lakeside fire pit, roast marshmallows, share stories, and enjoy the stars reflecting across the water.

Garrett’s Getaway is a destination for every season. During the warmer months, enjoy endless days on the lake, and when winter arrives, Beech Mountain Ski Resort is just 18 miles away, offering skiing, snowboarding, and year-round mountain activities.

Whether you're boating on the lake, relaxing by the fire, enjoying a friendly game downstairs, or taking in the tranquil waterfront setting, Garrett’s Getaway delivers the perfect blend of mountain charm and lakeside relaxation.


Additional Notes:
- Garretts Getaway allows up to 2 well trained, mature dogs with a pet rent of $25 per pet per night.
- All BRMR homes offer kitchens stocked with all utensils, dishware and cookware needed to cook and enjoy meals. There is also a "starter set" of other essentials including a roll of paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided for you. Please plan to bring any food or pantry items you wish to use. 
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- AWD/4WD is recommended for all vehicles coming to the mountains in the winter months. To access Beech Mountain in times of snow or ice, chains may also be necessary.
- Guests returning to Garrett's Getaway may receive a discount of 5% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
- Firewood for the indoor fireplace or firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two bundles of firewood and a fire starter for $25/night + tax.
- Home is a distance from a grocery store, please plan accordingly to ensure an enjoyable stay! 

CANCELLATION POLICY - 
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. 
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. 
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. 
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
