Property Description

This mountainside cabin is located on a mountain road that is sparsely-populated, about a half mile from Bryce Resort Lodge. Enjoy the serenity of the forest from the double decks (one covered and one uncovered), as well as the large, private, saltwater hottub! The circular driveway can accommodate three vehicles in a row. The cabin can be accessed via a ramped pathway (no stairs). This cabin is located within the Bryce Resort Community, a 15-minute (steep walk) from the Resort’s main lodge, ski/bike lifts and the Basye community store. Please take a close look at the listing photos. This modern property will delight friends and family of all ages. FEATURES & AMENITIES:The foyer leads to a large room with vaulted ceilings and a wall of south-facing windows. There is also a deck with seating and an umbrella. The living room includes a comfortable couch and chair, as well as a stone fireplace with wood burning. A large smart TV is mounted above the mantle. Watch your favorite TV series and movies using your preferred streaming provider. The dining room and kitchen are also located in this room. The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware and tableware as well as appliances. A Keurig coffee machine (K-cups are provided, but you can bring your own favorite roast or flavor) is also included. The dining area can accommodate 10 people at a family-style table. There is also additional seating at the kitchen counter for two more guests. The sliding glass door in your dining area gives you access to the hot-tub. On the main floor, there are also two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and one with a king bed), as well as a full bathroom. The loft area includes a balcony with a study/conversation area, a bedroom featuring a queen bed, and a bunkroom with two bunks (one twin/twin and one twin/double). There is also another full bathroom. The lower level has a large recreation area with a Foosball game, NBA Jam console, large TV, sectional couch, and h-top table that seats four. The recreation room extends onto the covered deck with ping-pong table and dining tables. Find the secret hideaway room as a bonus for children! The stairway between main and lower floors includes a door that protects the main floor from the lower level's game area. The chalet comes with bedding (pillows and bedspreads), fresh linens for the bed, one towel per maximum occupant, one bar of soap in travel size per maximum occupant, two tabs for dishwashers, two trash bags per bathroom, five trashbags per bathroom, a bath trash bag, a paper towel roll, a kitchen dish towel, scrubbing pads, and one travel sized dish soap. We encourage guests who have large groups or are staying for several nights or who use a lot of consumables to bring extra supplies, or buy them at the Basye Community Store. AT&T Wireless Broadband 5G provides WiFi internet, which is enough for working, web browsing, video conferencing and TV streaming. **This is a property that allows self-check-in. Check-in instructions will be sent to guests via email seven working days before the arrival date or immediately if they book within seven days. The Check-in instructions include the property address and driving directions, as well as a unique Key Code. OTHER NOTABLES:Pets are allowed for $100 per pet per stay (maximum of two). his property has a professionally-maintained outdoor hot tub and gas grill. Guests should be aware that the property may be difficult for guests to access during winter storms. It is recommended to park at the Resort, and walk to the property unless the guest has a four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle. The Bryce Mountain Escapes Pool is located at our check-in desk (2565 Orkney Grade Mount Jackson, VA 22842 - approximately 2.9 miles away from this cabin). You can see pictures of the pool in our unit listing. It is open Monday through Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9am-5pm. Local security and police enforce the quiet hours after 10:00pm until 8:00am. MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:Bryce Resort has many activities throughout the year. These include snow skiing/boarding and snow tubing. Other activities and features include swimming in Lake Laura, canoeing and paddle boarding.
