Villa #8 is an old-fashioned mountain chalet located near the Resort entrance. It overlooks Bryce Resort's driving range and putting green. The large windows, doors, and deck in the great room keep you close to nature while enjoying the view. Please note that the access to this mountainside cabin includes 30 steps from the parking area to the entry level. This chalet is located within the Bryce Resort Community, approximately 1.5 miles from the Resort's Main Lodge and ski/bike Lifts. It is also 0.3 miles away from the Basye Community Store and Smiley's Ice Cream & Mini Golf, as well as Freed's Biscuit Company and Bar.   Please carefully review the listing images. This chalet is rustic, but clean and well-maintained. This is a comfortable, affordable retreat for all guests.   FEATURES & AMENITIES: The spacious, open great room features a dining area and a living room with a fireplace. Firewood is available from late fall to early spring. The kitchen is conveniently adjacent to the great-room and includes basic cookware and tableware, appliances and a basket drip coffee maker. (Filters are provided, but bring your favorite grind). The main floor includes a bedroom that has a king-size bed, a bedroom that has two twin beds and a full bathroom. The loft is a cozy space with two double beds, and a full bathroom. The finished basement has a second living area, a game room with futon, a bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub, sauna, and a laundry room. Sleeps 10.   The chalet comes with bedding (pillows and bedspreads), fresh linens for the bed, a towel set per maximum occupants of the chalet, two tabs for dishwashers per bathroom, five trash bags per bathroom, a bath trash bag, a paper towel roll per bathroom, scrubbing pads, sanitizing soaps in travel-size, sanitizing soaps in travel-size, and sanitizing towels. We encourage guests who have large groups or are staying for several nights or who use a lot of consumables to bring extra supplies, or buy them at the Basye Community Store.   The flat-screen TVs come with basic cable and the high-speed WiFi internet of 50mbps is enough for streaming, working and limited gaming. Our Check-in Office has a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs that you can borrow for free during your stay.   OTHER NOTABLES: Pets are allowed for $100 per pet per stay (maximum of three). This is a Self Check-In unit. You will receive instructions for check-in via email seven working days before your arrival (or immediately, if you book within seven days). These instructions include the property address, driving directions, an unique Key Code and other important information.   This property does NOT have an outdoor hottub, grill or fire pit.   The Bryce Mountain Escapes Pool is located at the check-in desk (2565 Orkney grade). Pictures of our pool are available in the unit listing. It is open Monday through Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9am-5pm.   Local security and police enforce the quiet hours after 10:00pm.   MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN: Bryce Resort has many activities throughout the year. These include snow skiing/boarding and snow tubing. Other activities include swimming in Lake Laura, canoeing and paddle boarding.
