Great little town with lots to do

Absolutely loved this rental and would book it again for a longer stay. Great little town with lots to do and I’m sure the place is hopping in the spring and summer. I’d only suggest a fire pit and a hot tub!

Perfect for two couples to get together for a few days. Beautifully restored & updated home, with everything we needed. On-suite bath a little small, but nice.
Walkable to Mccaysville which is a great little town; nice shops & restaurants,; 10 minutes to blue Ridge. Right on the Toccoa River.
Hosts very responsive and in touch while we were there re risk for high winds. Would definitely rent again.

This house was perfect!! My Mother and I just got back from a weekend in McCaysville , GA. My mother is elderly and uses a walker and a wheelchair. I wanted a place where she could get around easily. The house was well stocked. I packed so many things I never used. The location is right down town. You can walk to Tennessee in 5 minutes. We got to see the Blueridge train come thru town from our house. We loved the covered parking. It was so peaceful right on the river. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds (King & Queen) and ceiling fans. One bedroom had a small shower and the other one had a full shower and bath in the hallway just off the bedroom. It was extremely clean and well maintained. The rental company addressed any concerns very quickly. The back screened patio was so relaxing. The home is older but updated and very cozy. I loved the location it was perfect. We were traveling with family. They stayed about 10 minutes away in a large cabin in the woods with terrible phone reception. Our phone service at this home was great. They could come over during the day and park next door to the house. There is a huge church parking lot. We all walked around town and looked at the shops and restaurants…. It is walking distance from the IGA grocery store. It was a block or less from the house. The house is 15 minutes from Blueridge and also very close to Ocoee River & Lake, which makes it a convenient area to stay if you want to go rafting , horseback riding, zipping. I was not able to do these things on this trip since it was so short but I definitely would want to come back and stay here again. McCaysville is such a cute little town it would get overlooked easy because most want to stay in Blueridge. This was so close and it had so much to see and do in walking distance. This was my second time this year coming to this area and I enjoyed this place the best. It was literally 10-20 minutes driving to anything you wanted to see and do. I would definitely recommend staying here in this home.
