Nice, comfortable, clean little house. Beds were comfy, AC worked well, plenty of dishes and cookware for our needs as a family of 4. Minor issue with a golf cart key but BHI Services promptly took care of that.

We spent a kid-free Mother's Day weekend at Lighthouse Landing #11. We loved the 4 bedrooms b/c each of us mamas had our own space. The layout enabled great relaxing views of the sound. It was nice to know that the house was close to the Ferry terminal/marina in case we couldn't catch a tram ride, but that ended up not being an issue for us. The kayaks were fun and definitely an adventure, but they were heavy and it was awkward to carry them all the way to the put-in spot. (Still worth it though!) This house would be great for my family of 5 as well, and even if we wanted to bring a grandparent. One level is the Owner's Suite and the top level is the other 3 bedrooms, great for a kids or family section. Thanks for a great weekend!!

We loved having our morning coffee and evening wine on the deck overlooking the marsh. The location is great - short walk to the lighthouse and restaurants, shops and grocery a short ride away. Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second stay and we loved it! Location is great, views can't be beat, and the is house is perfect for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back again soon!

Stayed at lighthouse landing and was really happy with the accommodations, location, beaches, and amenities! Family had a great time fishing, crabbing, kayaking and exploring the marsh. It was a short ride from the marina to the rental. Beaches were nice and had 3 to choose from which made it nice if one was too rough or windy! The island is big enough to explore, small enough to get from one side to another quickly in the golf cart. It was nice having 2 golf carts as, one had a closed cabin for rainy days and the other was open for the nice days to let the sea breezes in! Overall a great family location!

Great Stay

Lighthouse Landing #11 was just as pictured and advertised. They have 6 beach chairs, a boogie board and numerous buckets and beach toys for the kids. The 6 person golf cart functions well however the two person is more of a rattle trap, very noisy due to a door being loose but it is still fun to drive. The house is located close to everything including the beaches. Be prepared to pay a premium for groceries and restaurant food but that is to be expected, you're on an island so everything has to be shipped over. I highly recommend this property especially if anyone in your family has issues with stairs. The master bedroom is only 4 steps up from the main level once you climb the initial stair when coming in from outside. The kayaks are a plus and we liked going down to the dock to fish. We were a family of 6, 4 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room however the kitchen is a little small but very well equipped although the coffee maker doesn't keep your coffee hot, the microwave warms it right up so no big deal. We rented from Bald Head Island Services and they were great as well and cheaper than VRBO.

Fantastic location, close to everything, amazing views, easy loading and unloading for tram (this can be an issue at some houses). House was set up with everything you would need, perfect for our family of 5 and grand parents. would really consider staying here again. Only issue is that Bald Head Island services continues to exceed our expectations!! We have stayed on the island over a dozen times in the past 9 years and have always dealt with Brandy!!! Would be nice to have a problem just once so I know she is human and makes mistakes, haha!! All seriousness she and her company are the best and the only company to rent from. See ya next year B!!!

This is a lovely house with super comfortable couches and a beautiful view of the marsh. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet place to unwind for a few days!

This is a great place to stay. I loved having coffee on the deck while enjoying the marsh view. The view was truly gorgeous and it has two good carts to get you to the beach. Also three kayaks! Upstairs bathroom was very pretty with nice tile work. Some slight issues: no trash cans in the upstairs bedroom bathroom combo. Also furniture not arranged well in upstairs bedrooms. Dresser at foot of bed made it hard to get to the closet. Would suggest putting dresser in closet or against different wall. Then mount the tv on the wall to save space. Also no light in the pantry made it hard to find things. But would definitely stay here again!!

This house was perfect for our last trip to BHI. We have been three times and stayed in 3 homes, and this was our favorite so far. We loved the marsh view and the kayaks. The 6-person golf cart was great (and we had zero issues with the carts). The kitchen was adequate and there was a large table for us all to eat together. The kids loved each having their own rooms. The home was clean and comfortable. The ONLY thing that would make this home even more perfect would be having bikes. I know that they're hard to maintain, though, so it's understandable that they're not included.

Thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Lighthouse Landing #11. The set up of this home was perfect for an extended family gathering (grandparents, adults, teenagers) with plenty of seating around the large kitchen table and in the family room. Kitchen appliances and supplies all in great shape. Note to renters with elderly guests, be aware that the stairs to the upper floors are challenging as they're steep, wood (slippery), and have some tight angles around the corner so it's best to assign the younger ones and those with the ability to manage a lot of stairs to the 3 bedrooms upstairs (Queen, Queen, 2-Twin). The large master with king bed and gorgeous bathroom were easier to manage for the grandparents. We enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the marsh and fishing off the dock and loved being so close to the marina that we were able to kayak there for supplies. Golf carts were in good condition, as were beach chairs, and we enjoyed putting together one of the 1000pc puzzle that took us the extended weekend. Only negative was the limited basic cable channels available. The weather was nice so it wasn't a huge problem since we were out & about, but it would have been a bummer if the weather wasn't as nice or limiting for longer stays than a weekend, particularly in the fall during sports season. The entire process of renting and check-in were seamless and we'll likely be back and stay here again! Thanks!
