A Bit of History

Nestled among the most charming alleys of Naples, Pallonetto di Santa Lucia is a place where history comes alive, and time seems to flow at its own enchanting pace. Once a vibrant fishing village, this district still preserves its old-world charm, where fishermen returned at dawn, and the streets buzzed with voices, aromas, and traditional Neapolitan songs.

As you wander through the narrow streets, you'll sense the echoes of ancient games like pallacorda, once played here centuries ago, and be captivated by the unique charm of a neighborhood that has inspired poets, musicians, and filmmakers. Today, Pallonetto remains a world of its own within the city—authentic, lively, and welcoming, where neighbors chat between balconies and hospitality is a way of life.

Staying here, you’ll be just a few steps from Naples’ breathtaking waterfront, the historic Castel dell’Ovo, and the iconic Piazza del Plebiscito. Get ready to immerse yourself in the real Naples, where tradition, history, and the irresistible aroma of freshly brewed espresso come together.
