You don't need to be as familiar with St. Joe Beach than you are with other North Florida Beaches. St. Joe Beach is a quiet stretch of beach that measures less than 5 miles and is located between Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe, and Mexico Beach. Cape San Blas protects the quiet shoreline of white sandy beaches, making it ideal for families vacationing together. St. Joe Beach is pet-friendly. Mexico Beach does not allow dogs, but you can still bring your four-legged friend along and enjoy the beach for a few minutes.
The Anchored Inn is just a short stroll from the beach. It has a large deck that offers great views of the water. The owners have a retractable gate that can be opened on the top floor deck for those who wish to bring their dog or children. Here you will find a bistro and large picnic tables for your morning coffee. You will also find an outdoor shower hidden under the exterior stairs. There is also a ground-floor patio and a single-car garage. A fire pit can be found in the fenced-in backyard.
Anchored Inn is unique in that it offers separate, fully furnished accommodations on both the ground and upstairs floors. You can have privacy while you're away but still want to be able to share your space with your family. There is a clear separation between the floors. Each level has its own kitchen, dining, and living areas. There is one bedroom on each floor and three upstairs.
