Glacier itself is just 45 minutes away, with the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and more than 70 trails waiting. Closer to home, 43 miles of the Whitefish Trail System thread through the hills, and downtown fills up with breweries, distilleries, farmers markets, and events like Huckleberry Days, summer rodeos, and the Under the Big Sky Music Festival.
Getting Around: Getting around Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort is simple thanks to the FREE Snow Bus, a complimentary shuttle that runs during peak winter and summer seasons.
