Inside, the cottage is warm and thoughtfully appointed, sleeping four guests comfortably with a queen bed and a queen murphy bed. The two sleeping areas are separated by a curtain, offering a flexible and comfortable layout for couples or small groups traveling together. The open living area and fuly equipped kitchen make it easy to settle in and feel at home. While the sliding glass doors open to the back patio, perfect for morning coffee or an evening under the big sky. The mix of cozy furnishings and natural light gives the space a welcoming charm that feels like a true home away from home. 

Please note that Swan River Cottage is a private guest cottage situated on a shared property, the main house is occupied. 

Summer in Bigfork 
Flathead Lake takes center stage in summer, and for good reason. It's the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, with crystal-clear water that's made for boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming. Glacier National Park is just a short drive away, with the Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lake McDonald, and over 70 day hikes ready to fill your itinerary. Back closer to home, downtown Bigfork punches well above its size. Local shops, art galleries, award-winning restaurants, and the Bigfork Summer Playhouse are all within walking distance. If you'd rather be outside, the Swan River Nature Trail and Jewel Basin Wilderness Area offer great hiking, the lakes and rivers are stocked for fishing, and Eagle Bend Golf Course is one of the best rounds you'll play in the state.
