Just moments from the renowned One&Only Palmilla resort, this villa combines Spanish Colonial charm and elevated design with refined Tuscan influences - elevated by modern design and luxury amenities. The natural light flooding through overly large windows and vaulted ceilings flood the interior with an elegant stonework and wood decals. Plush furnishings, colorful textiles and soft linens create a warm and elegant atmosphere. Each of Casa Alegria's five bedrooms is a private sanctuary with its own Ensuite bathroom, safe, and stereo. Two suites facing out to terraces with sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez. The newly remodeled Italian Scavolini kitchen is a chef's dream - with a large center island, high-end appliances with a Viking refrigerator, dual sinks, wine fridge, and custom cabinetry. A sliding door opens the space to the outdoors with a fully equipped kitchen complete with built-in grill for easy indoor-outdoor entertaining. Life in the open air at Alegria is grandiose. The huge Cantera tiled terrace offers al fresco dining for eight under a grand palapa with hammocks in the breeze. Plush sunbeds encircle a beautiful two-level pool with a cascading waterfall, plus a high-up Jacuzzi with ocean views. Additional amenities include 2 pools, 80 inch flatscreen tv with surround sound, and high speed cable internet. The outdoors gym provides a shady, tranquil workout atmosphere with a rustic atmosphere. It is equipped with a treadmill, exercise bike, yoga mat, exercise ball, cushioned seating and privacy curtains making it the right place to relax and still appreciate the tropical environment. We also give you membership to the Palmilla Golf and Tennis Club (Surcharge). The world-famous 27-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course, the Palmilla Tennis Center and the new Palmilla Social Club, with its cafe, bar and comfortable indoor/outdoor spaces, are all a short distance away. Reservations for One&Only Palmilla restaurants can also be requested at the discretion of the hotel. Casa Alegria is a few minutes walk from one of Cabo's most gorgeous swimmable beaches - Palmilla Beach - famous for its calm turquoise waters, soft sand and idyllic cove for swimming, snorkelling and paddleboarding. My family just returned from an amazing three days in Cabo. Our Palmilla villa was absolutely beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and clearly well taken care of. Everything about our experience with Sun Cabo was wonderful and easy. Our pre-arrival concierge, Alicia, was informative, patient, and very helpful in booking our fishing excursion, dinner reservations, butler/chef services, transfers, etc. Our on-sight concierge, Lucy, was equally as helpful with last-minute items, bookings, and changes. Our butler Arturo, Chef David, babysitters Ana and Mirian, and our housekeeper were simply perfection. To sum up our group's feelings, we cannot wait to go back to Casa Alegria. The home is a beautiful Mexican design by a local Cabo architect and even published in a book. You can see the design in the details throughout. It is in a beautiful position perched out with a view of San Jose and the Palmilla One & Only Hotel. We even got lucky one night and saw a firework show from the Palmilla Hotel. It was great to lounge by one of the two pools which made it comfortable for all groups of 12 and gave everyone privacy. We also went down to Palmilla beach which they say is one of the nicest swimmable beaches in Cabo. There is a staircase of about 40 steps down to the beach and we strolled along the pristine sand and watched the waves for about 15 minutes without running into anyone. Instead, the Palmilla beach had a few people and public palapas available. We watched part of our group go out on a fishing expedition while others paddled out on SUPs, and a few of us just relaxed in the sun. The home is really oriented towards entertainment with a fully stocked kitchen and barbecue area for all the chefs in our group. It is in a gated upscale neighborhood which made us feel very safe. There is a super large screen tv, so the guys did not miss their sports. My favorite spot in the home was under the large Palapa where a few of us watched the sunrise and in the evening with a margarita while catching up with my girlfriends. The rooms are well-appointed with upscale linens, hand-embroidered Mexican comforters, and all the fluffy towels we needed for both the bathrooms and pool. The cleanliness throughout the house was noticeable and all the house staff was friendly and efficient. For Covid restrictions, they had hand sanitizer throughout and staff wore masks.
