Set on the secluded golden sands of Puerto Los Cabos, Piedra Blanca is a stunning beachfront estate with over 10,000 square feet of luxury indoor and outdoor living to enjoy. Inspired by the rustic charm of Colonial-era Spanish missions, this expansive villa's revival style architecture reflects the unadorned beauty of this period. Exterior walls of crisp white stucco are protected by wide eaves covered in terracotta clay roof tiles, with a magnificent stone tower rising up at the front entrance. There is a central courtyard filled with modern sculpture and a desert garden that displays the flora of the nearby Sierra de la Laguna Mountains.

The white walls continue indoors, punctuated by massive wood doors, exposed stone facades and vaulted beamed ceilings. The neutral tones in the flooring and furnishings are brightened by the sun pouring in through large sliding glass doors to create a warm, soothing ambiance in the home. Interior design can be described as Baja chic, featuring a mix of contemporary art and decor along with a strong representation of Mexican folk art that is evident in the beautifully-woven rugs, vibrant linens, paintings, and pottery.

An earthy, simple elegance defines the look and feel of Piedra Blanca's open-concept living and dining area. Rustic wood tables and a large L-shaped sofa create a comfy and casual living room lounge. Adjacent is a gorgeous solid wood dining table with leather seating for eight and a breathtaking backdrop of sea and sky. Sliding barn doors painted with a colorful mosaic of reds and yellows open to reveal the gourmet kitchen. Combining beauty and functionality, the spacious kitchen features deluxe stainless steel appliances, a central prep island, extensive built-in cabinetry, creamy marble counters, and an intricate tile backsplash.

Each a luxurious private retreat, Piedra Blanca's five bedroom suites are impeccably decorated with plush beds and delightful decor, with exquisite ensuites that mirror the simple elegance of the villa's overall design. On the terrace, over 5,000 square feet of outdoor living are waiting to be enjoyed. The spectacular pool has a beach entry with a long, shallow sunning area and a hidden Jacuzzi bubbling away in the center. Flowing toward the azure waters of the Cortez, the pool ends in an infinity-edge waterfall, its soothing sounds creating a tranquil atmosphere for the casual beachfront lounge area on the other side.

Bringing guests even closer to sand and surf, the lower terrace has built-in sofa seating with a glowing fire pit in the center to warm the air on cool evenings. Just past the sofa lounge, cushioned recliners dot the terrace so guests can relax in the sun and take in the endless ocean views. Manicured grounds of green grass, flowering bougainvillea, soaring palms, and tropical trees add to the beauty and serenity of the outdoor spaces. Discover an unforgettable beachfront paradise at Piedra Blanca.

Testimonials

Piedra Blanca was the perfect getaway for our adult 8 daughters. Jennifer handled our reservations and helped up decide on Piedra Blanca, Irene made all of our restaurant reservations and arranged our boat excursion, cooking class and photo shoot and finally, Jackie was the perfect “On the ground” concierge handling all of our details and was always just a text message away. While there may be other places to book, Sun Cabo has the team to make it perfect. We have used Sun Cabo 5 times now and this one was even better than the rest. Danny Sanchez was our Chef for dinner and cooking class and Isaac & Marco made the most delicious breakfasts for us. Rosa kept our place spotless and was so sweet to all of the girls… she even managed to get a Beet Juice stain out of my white jeans for me! The pool at Piedra Blanca was excellent and in beautiful condition. We took advantage of the Beach club several times and it was a nice amenity to have available. My only issue was it was a long ride back to San Jose del Cabo (maybe 20 minutes) and 45-55 minutes to Cabo San Lucas proper. Fundadores is a beautiful gates development and we felt very safe always… it’s just a long way to get home after dinner. Some of the restaurants that Irene & Jackie turned us on to were: Acre, Flora Farms, Turo, Sage and El Farralon…. All amazing. Thanks for an amazing trip.  ~ Steve F from Overland Park, Kansas, USA - Posted: 7/4/2024

We had a wonderful week! We couldn't have asked for a better place for our family to spend time together. We look forward to booking with you again!  ~ Leanne - Posted: 11/2/2021

We've been coming to Cabo for many years We've stayed at beautiful hotels and homes but this was the first time in Fundadores. We will definitely be back. What a beautiful and relaxing community. Closer to San Jose del Cabo there were plenty of great restaurants like Acre, Flora Farms as well as casual local places. The house is situated right above the beach which you can access from a steep path off the lawn. The pool is lovely as is the fire pit and hammock. The overall house is older but very well kept and clean. The bedrooms are all spacious and bathrooms nicely appointed and large. The view is AMAZING and so much better than other houses we saw. Rosita the housekeeper kept the house tidy throughout our stay and we barely knew she was there. We arranged for a private chef thru our Concierge Anna who was very helpful making reservations and quick to respond. Chef Marco made amazing breakfast every morning and paella dinner on our last night. This was sooooo worth it. He did all the shopping, cooking, table set up and complete clean up. The beach club is gorgeous and the food and drink excellent. Worth the $200 fee for our family for the week. We rented a 6 passenger cart which was good to have. We also arranged for family photos on the beach from Bradley Fraser of Cabo Photography. He was so fun and easy going. I would highly recommend him. Our transportation guy was Carlo and he was super nice and fun. We would go back to Piedra Blanca in a heartbeat.  ~ Wendy Vasquez - Posted: 7/9/2021
