The place is in a perfect beach front setting, its cute, clean,and so comfortable.Only the bed needs to be changed to one mattress instead of two twins put together, not comfortable. We definitely will return some day.

10/10 would book this place again! The view off the balcony was the highlight as well as easy access to a long strip of quiet beach front. Close to many stores / food, easy parking and super clean and up to date amenities. Thank you so much for a wonderful place to stay!

Loved the unit..very well maintained. A couple of thoughts...the two beach chairs are very mismatched. One sits up high and the other is a little thing that practically sits on the floor. I think the two of us look rather odd when sitting on the beach together. Also, the toilet is very difficult to flush. I have joint issues and it hurts my thumb to press so hard. other than that, we like the unit a lot. In fact we are coming back in June and will be staying in 219 again!

Nothing too heavy should be put on the shorter shelf. Also add a nightlight and more forks! Because of the beautiful view we ate most of our dinners outside. The sunsets are gorgeous!

A great place...beautiful location! Kitchen was fabulous! The beach, the view and the sunsets were absolutely AMAZING!! The grounds are very well manicured and clean! Our only thing we would really like to see for next year is updating the furniture.....2 twin beds pushed together to make a king size bed....and the mattresses were not very comfortable. Other than that...it was FABULOUS

Having stayed in this complex before, we were aware of the weird layout (come into unit through bedroom), But for us the view and location make up for it. Was aware ahead of time that the pool was closed due to renovation, and rental price was adjusted accordingly by management company. Unit is comfortable and nicely decorated. Just about all the things you need for a stay at the beach! Would suggest providing some decent sized wine glasses and a set of steak knives to compliment kitchen supplies, perhaps some loungers to take to the beach. Still, will come back again!

Nice apartment in a great location. Everything you need is there and the apartment itself couldnt have been more ideally located. Great ocean view, turtles on the beach almost every night, big grocery store (Times) just a block away and easy access to everything on the island. We had a perfect stay.

This was my husband and my 1st trip to Hawaii. We thoroughly enjoyed the location of the apartment. It gave us a perfect view of the bay. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching sea turtles and especially the whales while enjoying a morning cup of coffee. In the evening you also had the best seats to watch beautiful sunsets. If we are ever to plan revisiting Maui we would definitely like to reserve this room again.

The condo is right at the beach front, it has beautiful sunset view. It's also centrally located in Kihei，walking distance to many great restaurants near by. The only problem is the AC unit in the condo doesn't work very well, it's loud and dis-functional. Otherwise, everything else is perfect!

We had a great time at the Hale Kai OKihei Rm 219. We loved the condo, well stocked, and very quiet. Also appreciate the extended checkout of a few hours thanks to Joanie. The only little nit-noy was that the front sliding door takes quite a bit of force to open and close. Would love to stay there again!

The location is spectacular for evening sunsets. Our unit was a smaller one bedroom, but perfect for two people. The staff was incredibly responsive and attentive. We would recommend this location to anyone.
