The unit was just right for our family of four, although a little outdated everything was clean appliances all worked and bed was cozy. We put the kids in the bed since they go to sleep early and we took the pullout. The mattress on the pullout was ok, but after the second night we had to figure something else out, couldn’t find the pump for the two air mattresses that were in the closet so we slid the mattress off the couch and it was much better. Shower head need to be switched out it sprays every which way and you can not adjust it for different streams so took forever to wash hair and tub stopper doesn’t work for the kids bath. Only other negative was no hooks around to dry our towels and suits, 4 bath towels, 4 beach towels, 4suits and two towel racks and one hook in bathroom and not allowed to hang outside made it feel like we had stuff everywhere. All these are minor and didn’t affect our stay at all. We love Maui and had a great time thank you

Great location-walking distance to local eateries/bars/pubs. The complex was very quiet and the unit was big enough for 4 people to move around. The air conditioner in the unit was in good working condition. Cleaning supplies, bathroom necessities (bring your own extra supplies) and bedroom essentials were provided. There were extra pillows but no pillow sheets, and inflatable mattresses with manual air pump. One lightbulb in the bathroom was busted. No designated parking space but we always found a spot to park.

Place was clean and in a great location, only receive 3 garbage bags for a 10 day stay though… the door to the washer and dryer was broken and the shower curtain was held up with a paper towel at the end and it ended up falling and breaking. However, when I called about the curtain rod they were quick to respond and nice about it. I would stay here again for sure!

The condo was super clean, really well equipped and roomy! We had all we need to set up our basecamp in Maui! We recommend Maui Vista a 100%!

This condo complex is in a great location, but the condo itself is a bit tired. It could use some updating, new towels, etc. otherwise perfectly adequate. It was reasonably priced, so you get what you pay for.

Nothing fancy about this condo, was clean and quite, safe - best of all nice location for walking and enjoying south Maui area. Great condo for the budget minded - has basics to enjoy cooking and BBQ on property.

This is was our second stay in a Maui Vista condo. The unit was exactly as described, and very clean. Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is great - second floor and facing away from the main street. Love being able to just walk across the street to Charley Young beach! We enjoyed the use of the beach chairs and boogie board. I will say this is the first time we have been in a condo in Hawaii, and not seen a single bug/insect. While it would have been nice to have an AC unit in the bedroom, it wasnt an issue with all of the ceiling fans available. The only thing missing was a small cooler for the beach, but you can rent those at several places in Kihei. We would definitely stay in 1223 again!

Maui Vista was a great condo with everything I needed to enjoy the Kihei area. It had a washer/dryer, cable, internet and a fully appointed kitchen. Loved the location across from the beach. Short walk to downtown Kihei made it easy!

Room was outdated but clean. It is close to beach and stores/restaurants. I loved the fact that you are able to use their chairs, umbrella and boogie boards rather than having to rent or buy them. You get what you pay for here, so if you are looking for luxury, you will be disappointed. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

We arrived at 11 PM, didn't have any problem with the door code everything went smooth. The apartment was clean, the view was amazing and there was so many things that we didn't except like a snorkeling set, beach chairs and many more.
