Wonderful 30th
This was our 30th wedding anniversary and it was great. Centrally located and beach was quiet. Wonderful view. Look forward to a return trip.


Location, location, location!
It had been 25 years since our last visit to unit 405 in Kihei and while the resort and Kihei have changed, the spectacular views have not. The unit has all the comforts of home (wonderful gas grills!) and the proximity to the ocean is unparalleled (you can hear the waves crashing even with the sliding doors closed). The sunsets are amazing and the beach is great for long walks. There's a wonderful farmers market right across the street - the pirie mangoes are a must-try and the lilikoi or passion fruit is interesting - described by a local as the original Sweetart! The resort is very clean and well-maintained and the Ali'i staff was very responsive to the few maintenance requests that we had. They also allowed us early access upon arrival, which was much appreciated after an overnight flight from Tahiti. Kihei is much more low-key and less busy than Lahaina and other resort areas up north, but still has a great selection of restaurants and shopping, including nearby Wailea. So if you're looking for a relaxing Maui getaway, I highly recommend Kihei Beach Resort unit 405. We'll be back, and for longer than the six short days that we stayed in September!


Relaxing in Maui
Lovely Condo -405 Kehei Beach - comfortable, well stocked and spacious layout. Ali resort staff very accommodating, a few little maintenance issues were fixed promptly. Ali resort staff phoned us after our first night to inquire whether all was OK and we mentioned that the sofa bed which my adult daughter slept in was very uncomfortable and down to the wire. I asked if a topper was available and it was delivered promptly that very day. We love the location as it's convenient to everything on Maui...prefer this place to the high end Resorts of Maui. Will definitely recommend this condo to friends. Thanks Ali for making our stay easy


SUPER RELAXING
Thanks to the staff at Ali'i Resorts. I stayed in the Kihei Beach condos #405 a 1 bedroom 2 bath unit. I have 3 kids 7, 10, 12, they loved it. the balcony faces southwest with views of Kahoolawe and Molokini. The place was nice and clean the kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, bakeware utencils, ect. We stayed a week and loved the central location. You can go west to Lahaina in 20 mins, Kahalui in 10, and an easy 90 min drive to top of Haleakala


A perfect trip...
Our stay in Kihei was like a dream… The condo was exactly as described, clean, beautiful, affordable, and the view on the ocean… incredible! We received a warm welcome by the staff and the owner, they made it easy for us, we had anything we needed. The kitchen was complete and we cooked a lot. All the furniture was very comfortable, but the best of it…. During sunset, walking on the beach, which is just down the lanai of this nice condo…


Well stocked, excellent location!
We stayed at the condo for 3 days in early December before heading up and camping in the crater then driving around the island. The location of the condo is perfect! It is right on a quiet beach, across the street from a great little fruit market, and close to the highway for easy access to other parts of the island. We spent many romantic meals on the beach or on the patio after cooking delicious breakfasts and dinners in the condo. Luckily the condo had many of the little things: a cooler for day trips, oil and condiments for cooking, lots of ice and a blender for Mai Tais, etc... The place is spacious and nice, yet has a friendly personal feel. Furthermore, the ali'i people were extremely friendly to speak with and gave us some good advice for attractions. We had a great stay at the condo and in Maui.


Loved it!
This condo had everything I wanted: a perfect view, privacy, and an incredible beach you can step onto right off of the lawn. We could walk to an amazing snorkeling spot and get fresh produce right across the street.


Perfect, centrally located Maui vacation spot!
My husband and I spent our honeymoon on Maui and loved staying at Kihei Beach 405! The apartment is clean and comfortable and has every amenity you could want. The two bathrooms are very nice, even for just two guests, with all the showers after swimming in the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes, and having the ability to cook is a great option for keeping the price of a Maui vacation down. We ate in most nights and loved eating dinner on the lanai (balcony), which faces out over the water. The building also has a couple grills that we used to grill pineapple and fish. The location is great, it's very central to a lot of destinations on the island, and a very short drive from the airport in Kahului. Most mornings we got up early and explored the island. From the condo it was less than an hour drive to Haleakala for sunrise, and a very quick drive over to Makena for scuba and snorkeling and hiking in the lava fields. It's also a great location for getting to Lahaina, Paia, and Makawao for restaurants and shopping. And there are a few great spots real close by: there's a farmer's market across the street, and a yoga studio and a great breakfast spot, Kihei Caffe, about a mile down the road. We spent most afternoons back at the condo, swimming in the ocean and enjoying the location. The beach out front is also GREAT, beautiful and not at all crowded. We even saw a sea turtle swimming close to shore one afternoon! I'm not sure about the complaints about the bed from one reviewer, we thought it was exceptionally comfortable - maybe it's been updated since they stayed. Also, there were definitely all age ranges staying in the building - older couples (we actually met a couple who turned out to be neighbors back home), young couples, families with kids, groups of 20-somethings. Never had any issues with noise or anything like that with the neighbors, everyone was super friendly and nice. Oh yea, and Ali'i was also great for service. The place was immaculately clean when we arrived, and we ended up locked out at one point (long story) and they were super responsive and got us access to the unit right away. Great place, would definitely recommend it! We hope to be back soon - would love to come for a winter stay to see the whales.


AMAZING! Romanatic! Perfect!
We love #405. Our stay was amazing and peaceful. There is no other place on Maui like #405 because it is right on the water, central location, quite, and very romantic. We will recommend this to friends and family! I hope to go back someday!


Good location, beachfront, relaxing and peaceful.
The Unit was very nice and clean and comfortable. Great location and great views. Lots of good restaurants close by and grocery stores. Would love to stay here again.


Great view
This is the 3rd unit we've stayed in at Kauai Beach. I would have rated this unit higher except for the bed. It was bouncy and uncomfortable. Even though it was a king that was split, when one of us moved the other woke up. We ended up having to have one of us sleep on the pullout sofa. Other than that the unit was clean, with updated bathrooms. The view is great at the Kauai Beach on the higher floors. But the best thing is booking with Carney at ali'i resorts. She is efficient and knowledgable, and makes your booking experience a breeze.

Accomodations were exactly as shown, except the view was even better than shown on-line. All good!


Every day felt like spring break...in December!
The location of our livingroom and lanai were perfect for the spectacular sunsets. The unit was clean and had everything we needed including the most comfortable mattress, scrumptous linens and plenty of pillows. Very private feeling while still close enough to everything. The market across the street was a real plus. Going canoeing with the Kikei Canoe Club next door was a special treat and getting up every morning and having a 6 mile beach at you doorstep to go running on...where else on Maui can you do that! Unit 405 we miss you.
