Beautiful finished home in the desirable Eagles Nest community! Papa Bear Lodge at Eagles Nest is a high-end comfort to behold, tucked among the trees beyond the mountain's crest in Eagles Nest. Enjoy the open concept living area with high ceilings, gorgeous windows, and comfortable leather furniture! The main level contains a fully equipped kitchen for entertaining guests, modern appliances, granite counters, and a picnic-style dining table. The living area has a wood-burning stone fireplace with a mounted 75" TV and ample seating. While enjoying your stay at Papa Bear Lodge, you have access to most amenities inside of Eagles Nest. Amenities available to you include: 24/7 General Store Sportsman’s Grille (Wed-Sun. Hours vary) Fire Pit Woodland Trail System (ATV Trails, Hiking, Biking) (Restrooms and Pavilion coming soon!) Vineyard Food and Wine served Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p. Sat & Sun 1p-7p Please note all visitors on premise must be 16 years or older. This is strictly enforced. Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
**Please note that a new home is being built across the street. Construction may be ongoing Mon-Sat, 7am-7pm. There are trees and a road between the lots, but some noise may be heard during working hours.**
Revel in the tranquility of Eagles Nest as you step out onto the covered porch for some outdoor dining or relaxation. A gas grill is available at the home. On a small path below the porch, you'll find this home's stone firepit. Enjoy a marshmallow or two and surround yourselves with sounds of nature as the last rays of light fall over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Additional Notes:
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- All Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious amenities.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into into the home.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Guests returning to Papa Bear Lodge may receive a 10% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.

Papa bear is perched up on the mountain with magnificent views. The home is spacious but designed to feel cozy. Absolutely spotless clean, the most comfortable beds ever, and simple check in and out. Highly recommend this home. It is 15-20 to town along steep, narrow roads down the mountain but they are well maintained. Overall wonderful

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papa Bear Lodge. The cabin was stocked with essentials, and there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The porch was perfect in the morning for coffee and the outdoor seating was a great backdrop for our evening meals. Management was attentive to our needs and sent over a tech to fix the WiFi when we called. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
