<strong>HawksNest View</strong>, is a gem of a find in the mountains with its almost unheard of&nbsp;<strong>no-stairs entry</strong>.&nbsp; It&#39;s an authentic log cabin with ~2400 square feet of unique spaces to spread out.&nbsp; It has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and 5th sleeping space to sleep a total of 11 comfortably. It is a 3 story, 4 deck spaces home constructed of air dried Hemlock from Western NC. This beautifully crafted cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort and is thoughtfully designed to accommodate small or large groups with ample seating across a variety of spaces. It is centrally located in 7Devils which is right smack dab in the middle of all the top summer and winter activities. It is under 15 miles to most of the top key city attractions including Boone, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, App Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. In fact,&nbsp; HawksNest Snow Tubing/Ziplining is only 2.5 miles across the ridge. This central location makes our HawksNest View cabin an ideal home base for both summer and winter fun.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

We are dog friendly, so we know our 4-legged friends love their nature walks too. You will find it comes in quite handy for cleaning paws too. Once you walk through the screened front door, you&rsquo;re greeted by a wide-open great room with&nbsp;<strong>vaulted beamed ceilings</strong>, a stunning&nbsp;<strong>2-story stone gas fireplace</strong>, and a cozy hearth. The great room includes a 2-recliner sofa and swivel chairs gathered around the gas easy start fireplace and smart TV. The kitchen &amp; dining common areas all connect to the great room. The modern open-concept layout provides lots of flexible seating options for gathering even larger groups.&nbsp;<br />

The separate loft bedroom, the <strong>&ldquo;Blue Ridge Sky Room&rdquo;</strong>, offers a&nbsp;<strong>Queen bed</strong>, <strong>Twin bed</strong>, smart TV, ceiling fan and even a&nbsp;<strong>seasonal view of Grandfather Mountain</strong>. Just inside, you&rsquo;ll find a wall mounted&nbsp;towel warmer&mdash;perfect for warming up post-soak. The towel warmer is really quite a treat.&nbsp; Lots of extra towel hooks have been strategically placed in the lower level bathroom to accommodate all the post hot tub towel drying needs. The laundry room is also on this level with a&nbsp;<strong>full size washer and dryer</strong>&nbsp;to fluff and dry towels or your personal items as desired.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />

Having 2 game rooms is helpful when accommodating different age groups of adults or children.&nbsp; It provides lots of opportunities for people to spread out. They add so much more living space to the cabin itself.&nbsp; HawkNest View is truly&nbsp;<strong>&ldquo;Indoor-Outdoor living&rdquo;</strong>&nbsp;at its best. The wrap around decks are one of the best amenities it offers by far.&nbsp; The thoughtful deck furniture on every level will leave your family never wanting to go indoors. In fact, take a close look at the pictures of the main level decking. It has a unique gating system that when closed and locked it encloses the main level deck like a &ldquo;fence&rdquo;.&nbsp; It may offer some dogs a little indoor/outdoor flexibility themselves, depending on your dog&#39;s size &amp; agility. Use your own judgment and be sure to keep a close eye. There are bear and coyote sightings regularly as well as other animals that are less dangerous but would still be tempting to chase.&nbsp; When you are ready to explore the grounds with family or leashed dogs, just step off the lowest level deck platform to the backyard or off the front porch to the wooded space to the left of the home. Our property borders a large area of common area greenspace. There is a lot of area to explore right in our own lush, wooded backyard. You can fully enjoy your surroundings! So go take a peaceful walk with your dog or discover one of the&nbsp;<strong>two stocked catch-and-release ponds</strong>&nbsp;in the &ldquo;The Lakes&rdquo; neighborhood. - CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.<br />
- This home is pet friendly for up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs with a $25 per day, per dog fee.&nbsp;<br />
- Guests returning to Hawksnest View can receive a 10% discount on the rent, not to be stacked with other discounts.&nbsp;<br />
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.<br />
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a &quot;starter set&quot; of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided<br />
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
