The Original Mast General Store and Valle Crucis Community Park are located about a 10 minute drive away. Appalachian Ski Mtn and Sugar Mtn Ski Resort are both about a 22 minute drive away. Tweetsie Railroad is less than 20 minutes away and the nearest Blue Ridge Parkway access is about 22 minutes away at the Bamboo Gap access or 20 minute drive at the Holloway Mountain Road access (gravel rd.). Explore beautiful overlooks and countless hiking trails!<br />

<strong><em>Maximum Occupancy:&nbsp;</em></strong><em><strong>The home accommodates up to&nbsp;6 guests. For safety, comfort, and compliance with insurance and local regulations,&nbsp;no more than 6 people&nbsp;(including children and infants) are permitted to stay on the property.&nbsp;Please note that&nbsp;violating the occupancy limit&nbsp;is considered a breach of the rental agreement and will result in&nbsp;immediate cancellation of your stay without refund, and all guests will be asked to leave.&nbsp;We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.</strong></em><br />
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.<br />
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.&nbsp;<br />
- The road leading to this home is a winding gravel road and moderately steep in some places. While the home should be fully accessible in spring, summer, and fall seasons, 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter months and will be required during times of inclement winter weather. It is the guests responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather.<br />
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a &quot;starter set&quot; of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths.&nbsp;There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers.&nbsp;<br />
