Welcome to your own little slice of the High Country! Tucked away in a peaceful mountain setting between Banner Elk and Beech Mountain, this unique creekfront retreat blends classic Appalachian charm with the comforts you want for an unforgettable getaway.
Step inside and you'll immediately feel at home surrounded by beautiful log beams, warm wood accents, and cozy mountain character. With three bedrooms, a spacious loft, and an additional bonus cabin, there's room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the mountains together.
But the real magic happens outside! Spend your mornings listening to the creek, afternoons exploring the High Country, and evenings soaking in the private hot tub under the stars. Gather around the firepit with your favorite people, fire up some stories, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature all around you. Two decks provide plenty of space to relax, sip your morning coffee, or simply take in the scenery.
One of the home's most memorable features is the charming covered bridge connecting the two cabin spaces—a fun and unique touch that makes this getaway feel like something straight out of a mountain storybook.

Important Notes:
-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs. Pet rent is $25 per pet per night + tax.
-Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles of wood and a fire starter for $25/night.
- All BRMR homes offer kitchens stocked with all utensils, dishware and cookware needed to cook and enjoy meals. There is also a "starter set" of other essentials including a roll of paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. Towels and linens will be provided for you. Please plan to bring any food or pantry items you wish to use.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
MODERATE: CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
