This spectacular log home was designed and constructed for vacationers with luxury in mind!
The main level of this magnificent custom-built log home is accessed via a few steps onto one of the two covered decks at the rear of the home. There is one covered deck off of the laundry room and one 900 square foot covered deck off of the kitchen and dining area. This deck features a slate floor with a cathedral ceiling rising to a 25-foot high peak. The covered deck also wraps around the entire front of the home with full panoramic mountain views.
The spacious, fully-equipped kitchen at the west end of the home boasts a large island with a 6-burner gas cooktop and beautiful granite countertops, plenty of additional granite counter space, an abundance of cabinets - all custom built, and stainless steel appliances - with great views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large dining area with convenient access to the huge covered patio which is perfect for outdoor dining rain or shine.
Both the kitchen or dining room open into the great room with 25-foot high cathedral ceiling with windows from floor to peak facing the wonderful panoramic mountain views. This room features a 18-inch diameter post and beam architecture, a large stone gas-log fireplace, leather sofas, and a 50-inch plasma TV.
Off the living room are staircases up and down and a hallway to the east end. Off the hallway are a master suite with king bed, 32-inch TV, deck access, and private bathroom with large tiled shower, unique granite topped vanity, and heated tile floors; a large laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer, utility sink with granite top, and deck access; a full bathroom with granite top and a tub/shower combo; a bedroom with queen bed, 32-inch TV, wonderful mountain views, and deck access; and a master suite with king bed, 32-inch TV, great mountain views, deck access, and a large private bathroom with heated tile floors, granite counters, jetted tub, and separate tiled shower with body sprayer.
Upstairs is a large loft with two 42-inch TV's and two twin sleeper chairs, a sitting area in the center overlooking the living room and a card game table; a room with 2 twin beds with twin trundles and 32-inch TV, a bedroom with king bed, 32-inch TV and great mountain views, a full bathroom with tub/shower combo on the east end; and a spacious master suite with king bed and a daybed, 32-inch TV, 15-foot high vaulted ceiling, and a luxurious bathroom with large jetted tub, separate tiled shower with body sprayer, heated tile floors and wonderful mountain views on the west end.
Downstairs is a 600 square-foot garage, a game room with a pool table and dome hockey table, sleeper sofa, a half bathroom, a full wet-bar with full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, wine chiller, sink and granite countertops, a theater with a 10-foot screen, 7.1 surround sound with butt-kicker, and 7 leather recliner theater seats, an exercise room with an elliptical trainer & recumbent bike, a steam room with ceiling shower, a sauna, and an indoor swimming pool with a swim-spa resistance feature with a separate hot tub. Gamers in the group will enjoy playing on the X-Box One and PlayStation4 consoles. Some games are provided but feel free to bring your favorites along! The Lodge is perfectly located on 10 acres just 2 miles from Boone shopping and dining, 8 minutes to ASU, 12 minutes to Boone Golf Club, 15 minutes to Tweetsie and the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to Appalachian Ski Resort and Downtown Blowing Rock, 25 minutes to HawksNest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines, 30 minutes to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, 45 minutes to Ski Beech, and convenient to all other local attractions.

- This home is accessed by a long steep gravel driveway. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March and chains may also be necessary to access the property in winter months.
- There is an outside fireplace shown in one of the deck photos. It is currently non-operational and is intended for decorative use only. Please do not attempt to light the fireplace.
- Please note that if you plan your arrival to be on the same day that the previous group departs, the pool and hot tub may not be ready for use on the first day of your stay due to the long time that it takes to balance and sanitize them between rentals.
- Please be respectful of neighbors by observing the outdoor quiet time at 9pm.

Thank You So Very Much!!!!! we had a very nice time at The Lodge in Boone NC. Easy to work with, very nice and helpful staff, they will call you to make sure everything is set up correctly and on time for your stay. Awesome house will recommend 100% will come back soon. Note:It is kind of hard to get up the hill if you do not have a truck or a 4x4, make sure you have the proper transportation and a experienced driver and that whoever is driving is not afraid of heights.

We had such a good time at The Lodge. The house had so many amenities to offer. We get together with our children and grandchildren every year usually at OBX but decided to do something different this year. We are so glad we did. Not only was the house amazing but the views were incredible. Blue Ridge Rentals was very easy to work with. .This property was perfect! We could not have asked for anything better. The entire family from age 23 months to 64 years had a great time. The pool was a hit as were the pool table and ping pong tables. We all enjoyed the theatre room for watching movies together or just catching a nap! The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all equipment to cook big family meals. The children enjoyed the safety of the porch and we all were thoroughly delighted with the amazing view! There was plenty of seating everywhere. We didn't use the sauna or steam room but that was not because we didn't want to, we were just too busy! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful home! The Bechtold's

First, AWESOME service from Blue Ridge Rentals. Our contact there, Amy, has been nothing but the best !!!! She has helped us with our reservations and even when we left something in the house she made sure to look for it and even shipped it to us. This is our second rental and we have always been satisfied with them. The house (The Lodge) was the best. The amenities were great!! Steam room, sauna, pool table. There were three King suites that works perfectly for the family we had. Theres plenty of places to sit outside with a fire pit and grill. We couldn't have found a better place to stay !!!!!!!!!!!

We rent a large home each year for my children's fall break and my annual executive retreat. Of all the homes we have rented in the past, The Lodge was by far my favorite. We found the accommodations to be very closely spec'd to our own home and the layout was very comfortable while still having plenty of space for meetings and relaxing. Additionally, we were impressed that every amenity you could ask for was either down the hall or just a flight of stairs away. We look forward to renting again and hopefully The Lodge is available as all of my executives requested we stay here, again. We love the mountains and have always found BRMR to have the nicest and best kept homes!!
BEAUTIFUL PLACE

We had five couples going to a wedding in Boone, and rented the house from Thurs-Sunday. The house is simply lovely with great spaces to chat, watch tv, dine, and sleep. The porch provided great views of the surrounding (and lower) mountains. Morning views with the sun coming up and the fog in the valleys were spectacular. It's a steep drive up the driveway with plenty of switchbacks, but we had no problem getting up to the house. We used the hot tub which was very convenient with the electric cover rollback. We also used the grill one evening to cook steaks. The porch fire pit was nice to sit around during the cool evenings. All the bedrooms and baths were very nice and the whole house is nicely appointed. In conclusion: we liked it very much and will probably get a group to go back there sometime soon.

Our week at the Lodge was perfect for our family. The house is outstanding and served each member of our family with such a wonderful experience. We loved the location as it was so convenient to most of the things we had planned to do. Boone is such a pretty town and changed so much since I was in college in the area almost 50 years ago!!! The communication with Blue Ridge Rental was very good and all of our questions were answered and taken care of very quickly. We can see our family returning to The Lodge for another family vacation.

WOW! What a house! What a view...My mom rents a big house in the mountains for our whole family. This year we wanted a change and she found "The Lodge". We all love the mountains. Your house was plenty big to accommodate all of us. The kids loved the pool, hot tub and pool table. I personally loved the theater room! The amenities are awesome! I think we have found our new yearly rental!

Our family had a fabulous time at your cabin. We have stayed at many other cabins, but this was our best stay ever! It was the cleanest and most well equipped. Everyone had plenty of space. I appreciate that the photos were just like the cabin was. We have wanted to find a place that we could return year after year and I think we have finally found it!

To call The Lodge a cabin is a misnomer. To quote my grandson, he liked living in a mansion. This property is quite over the top in luxury and amenities, beautifully appointed, and conveniently located. We have rented from Blue Ridge Rentals for at least ten years and have always been more than satisfied with their customer service. I recommend them to everyone!

We just finished our family vacation past weekend and I miss the amazing house and views! Our family had such a great time with spending time in Boone and just staying in some days/nights! All the amenities allowed us to make some amazing family memories from movie night, to swimming with the kids, to working out, to just relaxing in one of the huge 6 bedrooms. I cannot wait for next year and definitely glad we upgraded (we needed more space). Thanks again for providing a safe and amazing home for us to use for our 3rd yearly vacation- the views were astounding!
