This jewel of a home is the perfect luxurious mountain getaway!
Enter the main level from the paved circular parking, up a trio of stairs, and through a carved wooden door. The open great room, two stories high with a cathedral ceiling, sprawls before you with a dining room in the center, a living area to the right, and a kitchen to the left.
The gourmet kitchen features a large stainless steel 6-burner gas stove with side griddle and a convenient pasta arm set into the tiled backsplash, eliminating the need to carry heavy pots of water from the sink to the stove. The double basin embossed metal kitchen sink was custom-made for this home and features a fleur-de-lis pattern across the front. Enjoy your meals at the solid wood round table, which will comfortably seat 8, and 4 more can be seated at the granite kitchen island bar.
There is a custom wet bar set off the kitchen, with granite counters and hot & cold water flowing to the trough sink. Chilly outside? Light a fire in the double-sided gas log fireplace, and enjoy the warmth from the dining area or from the living area. The living room has comfortable leather furnishings arranged around a 42” HDTV with a BluRay player connected. The blinds of the top tier of windows can be remote controlled, so you won’t get the sun’s glare on the evening news.
The spacious main level master suite, accented with splashes of vibrant color, has a King bed, HDTV, private balcony as well as access to the main deck, and a ceiling fan. The private bathroom has remote controlled privacy blinds, a spa-like shower with a Rainhead, three body sprayers, and a regular head, two vanities, and a water closet.
Upstairs from the main level is a reading loft with a couch that folds out into a full-sized sleeper, as well as a poker game table with a reversible top.
Down one story is the sleeping floor. On this level is a second living room with a 42” TV and BluRay player, a chair that folds out into a twin sleeper, and a table with four chairs. There are three bedroom suites on this floor: a green room with a King bed, a yellow room with a full bed, and a western red room with two Queen beds. Each of these has a TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower inside. The suite with two Queen beds is only accessed through a bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds. For those using the bunk room or the twin sleeper, there is another full bath off the common room.
Down another story is the game level of the home. This entire level has 12’ ceilings. The spacious game room has a large L-shaped couch and two rocker/recliner chairs in front of a 60” TV. There is a regulation-length pool table and a wet bar, as well as a ping pong table. The two car garage is on the other side of this floor, and is available for guest use. There is room for a maximum of four vehicles.
Nestled in the quiet Yonahlossee Saddle Club, the home is in an excellent location for those wishing to run or walk around the home, with or without the family pet. You’ll also enjoy full club privileges at the Yonahlossee Club, which include 75-foot indoor swimming complex, game room with foozball and ping pong, lounge, and fitness center, indoor and outdoor tennis courts and lessons, horseback riding and lessons, and more.

Location, Location, Location! Plus this house, it's amazing when you spend time inside - all the nice painting, drawings, pictures, high quality kitchen installed, nice bed quality, everything make you so comfortable living there. The facility was well represented on the website and pictures. Blue Mountain Rentals was very efficient and met expectations. "Mother Nature" was NOT very welcoming with a deluge of rain and strong winds. However, at no time did we feel unsafe within the structure of Stags Leap. Stag's Leap fully met and exceeded our expectations. The view of Grandfather Mountain was breathtaking. The decor was tasteful, comfortable, pragmatic, and beautiful. There was plenty to do in the home. The well equipped gorgeous kitchen was used frequently as a common gathering area to prepare, cook, eat meals, and talk about nothing and everything simultaneously. My husband and I celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary there with our children, their spouses, and seven of our grandchildren. Everyone had a marvelous time playing billiards, ping pong, games, and socializing. Great attractions were in close proximity, which made it easy for us to hike, shop, and eat out. My two year old granddaughter was mesmerized by the horses down the road and is still talking about petting one on the head. This home is a keeper, and we hope to return.

Stags Leap is an amazing property and perfect for a large family gathering. Blue Ridge Rental was most knowledgeable in helping us locate the perfect rental-one that played an important role in our family celebration. The house had everything we could possibly need-the floorplan was such that everyone had plenty of room, entertainment for the kids on the lower level, quiet space for the grown ups and wonderful kitchen facilities for meal preparation for large groups. The neighborhood is lovely and the house has the most spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain. No better way to enjoy an early cup of coffee.

After searching over 70 rentals and contacting several offices, I was delighted to get in touch with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. They were professional, kind, easy to work with, and able to listen to what we needed then find several options to fit within our dates and budget. We ended up staying at Stags Leap over Memorial Day Weekend. We had 8 adults and 6 kids and had an enjoyable stay. Honestly, I was concerned at first that it said the place allowed large dogs. None of us are pet owners. However, had I not read it, I would have never known that dogs had been in the house. We had plenty of room to spread out, or if all together we did not feel crunched on top of each other. The house was beautiful and we appreciated all the decorations and extra touches the homeowners had done - from the artwork, to the faucet above the stove. While a small detail - I was especially delighted to see that the bunk bed mattresses and pillows my kids slept on, as well as my husband and I in the king on the sleeping floor, all had allergy covers on them. Our kids have asthma, are allergic to dust, and typically I have to put those covers on mattresses and pillows when we travel or else their asthma is aggravated. I was overjoyed that we did not have to do that here. The beds were comfortable, everyone slept well. There was plenty of hot water for showers. Additionally, the floors were clean and the house was well maintained. We enjoyed that the house was convenient to several area attractions. For this trip, we went to Tweetsie, Linville Falls, Mystery Hill, and Grandfather Mountain. A family friend visited us while we were there and they are now planning to rent the house later in the year. Thank you, Blue Mountain Rentals, for helping us have a wonderful vacation and we look forward to working with you again.

Our family recently stayed at the Stags Leap property in Boone as we were coming for APP State graduation. It was incredible! It had everything you could want -- and more. It was beautifully decorated -- filled with all the things you would need away from home. This property overlooks Grandfather Mountain and the view is stunning. We enjoyed eating out on the deck overlooking the gorgeous views -- cooking out on the wonderful grill provided. This property exceeded all expectations. It was so beautiful! I would highly recommend it to any large family! We will never forget our time there. None of us wanted to leave!!!
