Located in the Mountain Air gated community within Pisgah National Forest, Skyfall offers a safe haven with the convenience of shopping and dining options just 17 minutes away in Burnsville, NC. The weather on Slickrock Mountain is ideal in all seasons with spring wildflowers, a chill to the air even in mid-summer, and picturesque snowfall in the winter. From there it's a smooth commute to I-26 and Asheville attractions. Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center is approximately 1 hour from Skyfall. Biltmore Estate and Linville Falls Winery are approximately 50 minutes away. Outdoor activities in the area are abundant, including whitewater rafting, kayaking, fly fishing, and hiking trails. There are several festivals in the area, including the Soulshine Farms Music Festival, the Carolina Mountain Literary Festival, and the Mt. Mitchell Crafts Fair, held annually on the historic Burnsville Town Square. Get outside and take a slow inner tube ride down the Toe River, go gem mining at Emerald Village (35 min.), or take it a little further up the mountain and visit the highlands of Boone, NC (1.5 hr.). Firewood is not provided for guest use. If you plan on using the indoor fireplace, youll need to bring firewood with you.

Please note that this propertys Non-Refundable Period is 30 days prior to arrival. If your reservation is made within this period, it will be non-refundable from the time of booking.
