Large groups can rent both homes together and enjoy the full Thimbleberry at Notre Reve experience! About Thimbleberry Thimbleberry features an open layout living area with a luxury kitchen, a dining room with seating for 8, and a living room that's perfect for a family movie night. The main level of the home also features a lake-facing sun porch with a second dining and living area to comfortably accommodate larger groups. A bathroom with a shower/tub combo rounds out the main level of the home. Upstairs you will find the two bunk rooms and a second bathroom. Each bunk room features two queen over queen built-in bunk beds for a total of four queen beds. The bunk beds are "pod style" that provides a little privacy for each bed even when they're all occupied. Both bedrooms have access to the lake-facing deck, perfect for watching the sunrise over Lake Superior. There is a sleeper sofa in the living that can be used as an additional sleeping space to accommodate a total of 10 guests. About Notre Reve Notre Reve boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with two of the bathrooms having been recently renovated. The home also has a spacious Great Room area featuring a kitchen with a massive island, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a dining table that can seat 8 with 4 additional seats are located on the kitchen island. The Lutsen area offers everything from miles of hiking and biking trails to the Midwest’s premier downhill skiing destination – Lutsen Mountains. Known primarily as a ski resort, during the summer months and fall you can take a scenic gondola ride up to the summit of Moose Mountain. Once you reach the top, enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Superior and the surrounding wilderness. Staying on the wilderness trail, Cascade State Park is just down the road and features a gorgeous waterfall following a short, easy hike. You are also just a short drive from several North Shore restaurants and quaint, locally-owned shops, including the North Shore’s first winery and first local coffee roaster. After a marvelous day of adventure on the North Shore, return to the Notre Reve to unwind with the soothing sounds of Lake Superior. Few things are more memorable than falling asleep to the rhythm of one of the world’s largest freshwater lakes dancing on the shoreline. Accessibility Notes While not a wheelchair-accessible home, this home is accessible for some people with mobility issues. The home is located on a single story (the one bedroom requires a few steps down to access) with wide hallways. Guests can easily access the outside deck area off the living room, as well. Lake access is "easy" and requires going down two stone steps to access. However, ledge rock shorelines are uneven and challenging for some to walk around on. Thimbleberry has a bathroom on the main level and the living room sleeper sofa would be considered accessible. However, the bedrooms are both upstairs and not accessible.
