Wow!

Wow! What a beautiful cabin in a breathtaking location. Close to Lead and Deadwood while still feeling like your in the middle of the mountains. The cabin is gorgeous, comfortable, and well stocked. We appreciated the multiple decks, a bedroom and bathroom on each floor, and lots of spaces to hang out. Our host was responsive and super helpful. All in all a wonderful experience! We would go back to the rental in a heartbeat! For bikers/hikers/runners - the cabin is really close to the Englewood Trailhead for the Mickelson Trail.

My whole family loved the house and the location was awesome!

It beautiful house with “cabin feel” in a peaceful location. We watched a doe and 2 fawns from the great room picture window each morning. The level of privacy of the bedrooms on each floor was very nice. A warm and relaxing large hot tub on the lower level walkout was a bonus each evening after sightseeing. A fire pit coffee table on the main level deck to enjoy a snack and a drink of your choice as the evening came to a close. The quietness of the location was amazing - the only sounds in the area was the babbling brook and the wind blowing through the pine trees. There are plenty of TV's for viewing your favorite shows. The location is 1 hour 45 minutes to Devil Tower, 2 hours to Badlands and Wall Drug and 1 hour to Custer Park, Crazy Horse and Mt Rushmore. Our host took extra care to assist us with a massage therapist, Ashley from Stress Relief Massage and Spa to come to our location for massages. She is excellent and worth asking for should you want a massage.

We had a wonderful stay! There was a cabin in closer proximity than shown in the pictures but the cabin still felt very private and secluded. We had deer in the yard most mornings. For those with little ones, there was a baby gate in the downstairs closet. However, there are two sets of stairs so if you have climbers just be aware. the cabin was very comfortable and felt like home. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and bakeware. Would definitely recommend! Driving distance can be somewhat long depending on where you are headed. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park are all 1.5 hr drives from the cabin. Devils Tower was an hour and forty-five minutes. Spearfish and Deadwood are both close at 20-30 min drives. We loved the long drives being able to look at all the scenery and wildlife but it’s just something to consider.

Great secluded place close to Lead. Very proactive and great communication from property management. We really enjoyed the place.
