Are you planning a vacation to the Black Hills? Deadwood Connections is your Connection to the Black Hills of South Dakota. Deadwood Connections was founded by Jonna Kandolin, a native of Deadwood, South Dakota. Our vacation rental cabins and lodges are located in the Northern Black Hills, near historic Deadwood, South Dakota. Our cabins and lodges are available year round and are surrounded by many outdoor activities, events, and plenty of attractions!
Deadwood is a National Historic Landmark with its colorful history and close proximity to attractions like Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monument, Deadwood is becoming a major vacation destination. Deadwood is close to many activities and events including the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Gilded Mountain is near the slopes of Terry Peak, the largest ski area in South Dakota.
This area is home to many National and State Parks with many outdoor activies. Explore the unique caves at Wind Cave National Park and Jewel Cave National Monuments, with miles of underground passages hidden below acres of pine forests. Hiking and snowmobile trails through pine forests and canyons on over 350 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. Rock climbing, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing when heading to the Eagle Cliff Trails near Spearfish Canyon. Mountain Ski Resort with the only Zero Gravity Tube Park in the Black Hills and cross country ski trails, just minutes from the cabins. Many of the cabins also have direct access to the snowmobile trails so you can leave from your front door!
