This home is located just yards from the Gulf of Mexico. It's the perfect place to spend a memorable vacation. The first level of the house is elevated, and offers a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. This level has the living room, kitchen and dining room all running along the rear of the house to give you a great view of the water. The views only get better when you step out onto the expansive covered porch. This is the perfect place to relax under the shade and read a book or enjoy outdoor dining. The kitchen is located in the middle of the living space and has a breakfast counter on both the dining room and living room sides. The kitchen is centrally located in the living area, and has a breakfast bar on both the dining room side and the living room side. The dining area can be extended into a second seating area, which is a quiet place to catch up with the day's events.

This level has two bedrooms with a hallway bath in between. The first guest room has two twin beds, and the second one has a queen-size bed. The master bedroom is located upstairs, with a spectacular bathroom and a private balcony to enjoy the waterfront and your first cup of morning coffee.

The pier dock is not only a place to dock your boat, but also a great place to relax on the built-in benches or dive in for some great snorkeling onshore. Even fishing is reported to be fun and successful from the dock's end!

The pool is a free-form pool with an elevated spa, a waterfall into it and a second waterfall rock that has a bench built in underneath. The pool entry is a stairway that goes from the shallow end to the deep. The shallow entry is ideal for young children

Fall Discount $3,100.00 September after Memorial Day Week up to Thanksgiving

Pool heat is optional at $225.00 per week.

All rates include a $50 booking charge, $275 cleaning fee, 12.5% sales tax, and a $1000 refundable reservation/security deposit. Pet fee is $150 plus tax if pets are allowed.

4th of July in the Keys

We have been vacationing on the Keys since over a decade and this house was our favorite so far! I regret not renting this home years ago. We always stay at Morton Street, in Grassy Key. I must say that this will be my go-to property from now. I have already rented it for next year. Here are some key points from someone with extensive knowledge about the Morton Street rentals. This property's swimming pool is amazing! You may know that the pools on Morton Street can get very warm in the summer. This pool was designed perfectly! The pool is in full sun during the day, with some shaded seats. But as the afternoon progresses, the pool becomes a great deal cooler due to the shade. Plus, the spa quickly heats up to 102° and then automatically cools down before it starts circling the pool with the overflow. My teenagers loved the rock waterfall for keeping their pool cool and drowning out unwanted neighbors noise. The heaters in the pool and spa will keep the pool warm for night swimming, especially if there is a windy day. If you are staying on Morton Street, the length of the dock is very important. The dock may look short in the photos, but it has a wonderful length, great seating, perfect light, a stable ladder, and a great cleaning station. The rock wall of the neighbor is close by, so there are a lot of animals around the dock. We were there when the winds were bad and few charters offered snorkeling trips. Bahiahonda is usually the one who takes us snorkeling at Looe Key. This year, due to the winds, it was not possible to snorkel Looe Key. We also had some first-timers with us who were ecstatic to see the fish and sharks from the dock. This year, our three teenage boys caught five shark species from the dock. All sharks were released unharmed and the hooks were removed before release. FYI, the shark bite begins around 8:30pm and ends at around 11pm. This was the best fishing we have ever experienced at any house on Morton Street. They also caught snapper, barracuda, tarpon and tarpon. They caught several snapper of a size that is not usually seen off Morton Street Docks. The outdoor space of this home is amazing. I can't praise it enough. The kitchen and bedrooms in the house are spacious with plenty of room. 7/11/2022

Paradise

This home is amazing! Our family had a wonderful time! It is a beautiful house inside and out! Everything you need is available! Wow, what a beautiful view to look out of the master bedroom every morning! Just gorgeous! The pool was also beautiful! The palm trees provided much needed shade and were beautiful. We used the pool in the morning, evening and between. The dock was a bonus. The boys fished a lot! We saw a beautiful parrotfish school at the dock each morning... a pair nurse sharks the first day...a barracuda who stayed around the whole week...a couple snappers, and a family iguanas who visited every day. We snorkeled on the dock, and saw tons of colorful fish that were not visible from the dock. We made so many wonderful memories in your home! We appreciate you opening it up to guests. We tried to book next year, but it was all booked up. It's a beautiful property! Again, thank you! ! !
