Property Description

Enjoy comfortable furnishings throughout the cabin. Towels and linens are provided. Living room has large windows to see the surrounding beauty of the area. Satellite T.V and DVD player is provided for your entertainment. Gas fireplace in living room to keep you warm and cozy in the colder weather.

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove with oven, small appliances, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. The large dining table seats a large number of guests so have the family over for homemade meals. There's a washer and dryer on the bottom level with detergent provided for those dusty days playing on the trails.

Along with being only minutes away from West Yellowstone and the West entrance in Yellowstone National Park, there are numerous other activities that you can enjoy. There is a boat rental just ten miles away, that you can rent boats to float down the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Moose in the River is a common sighting on this adventure, it is enjoyable for all ages. Just twenty minutes south, there are two waterfalls you can see - Upper and Lower Mesa Falls. They are both breathtaking.

We had a great 3 day stay just after Christmas at Winchester Cabin. It was very roomy and had plenty of beds for everyone. The WiFi was nice since our phone reception was spotty inside the cabin. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The cabin instructions said to bring your own toiletries, however, they did have hotel style bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bar soap. That was nice. Plenty of bath towels and hot tub towels. Also, the owner of the storage unit next door is very serious about anyone parking in her lot. Overall, we had a great stay and would book again.

Very enjoyable long weekend vacation. Lodge was more than enough room for our family of 11! Very clean and well equipped. Overwhelmed with crowds at Yellowstone, but we all enjoyed our cabin time. Hot tub, spacious kitchen, plenty of bathrooms, and layout of cabin saved our vacation!

Fantastic large gathering place!

Winchester Lodge was a fantastic place for our family to stay. We had 23 people with a few young children. The lodge had more than enough room for all of us. Everything was as advertised. Actually, I don't think they advertised it, but there is a chair lift from the garage to the main level, so an older or handicapped guests could be accommodated. We have quite a few more females than males in our family, and we did have to get more T.P. Other than that, not even a hint of a negative.

What a great place for a family reunion. We were amazed by how well supplied it was. Lots of nice towels, pans, bowls, everything you could want in a kitchen and plenty of paper goods. Even had extra tables and chairs. We loved the deck - ate there, played games etc. Saw moose and loved the accommodations. Plenty of activities in the area. Had a great time.

So Well Equipped

The description didn't do justice for how well equipped this was. Besides the items they listed, there were pack and plays, foam pads, a high chair, slow cookers, and oodles of towels for all the guests. The lot was pretty, we enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit, and could even pull our cars into two garages! Furniture was a little worn in great room and downstairs play room, but we had a wonderful time and the kids all commented on how well it fit our needs.
