  2. Perfect location to view amazing sunsets! There were 6 of us staying in the comfortable, nicely decorated Gunderson Cabin. The wraparound screened in porch gives you the space to move around. We enjoyed grilling and eating outside on the large deck while the sun was setting. There was plenty of outdoor seating. We enjoyed swimming right off the rocky beach. Definitely bring some shoes or sandals for that. Groceries, shops and restaurants are 5-11 minutes away. Three out of 6 of us had to work some of the days. The Wi-Fi had a strong signal. However, you could not make phone calls from your cell phone. There is a land line for emergencies. The state parks are close to enjoy hiking or the beach. Definitely would bring the family back!

    We loved our stay at the Gunderson! In the all-important categories of clean, cozy, and comfortable, the cabin is truly superb. Enough room inside to accommodate our group of 6 guests without feeling cramped. The enclosed wraparound porch, backyard, and beach areas are all great, offering different options for enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Michigan, both indoors and outside. The wi-fi is a lifesaver (most of us got poor cell phone reception out there, so logging onto their network allowed us to make calls, send texts, etc). Thanks again for providing us with a great stay!

    This historical cottage is charming, clean and updated beautifully!! It has all the modern conveniences a family needs! The lakeside deck is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the big lake! Love this place!!

    The cabin is a wonderful and cozy place to spend several days relaxing, reading, eating and watching movies! It is rustic and yet has all that one needs for a comfortable stay! We loved the waterfront location and just wanted to sit by the water the entire time. It is a place of much peace and quiet. It was clean and supplied well. We would highly recommend some days of rest at the Gunderson Cabin!

    The property sits on a convenient but secluded location being only a few minutes away from Sister Bay. The interior is clean and thoughtfully furnished. The back of the cabin offers a great space for a space to hang out and a private pebble beach to enjoy the sunset. Overall a very relaxing vacation experience!
