Come and enjoy this newly renovated 3-bedroom 3.5 bath home nestled in Bald Head's Maritime Forest. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the back screened in porch has plenty of space for dining or enjoying the wildlife views on the sofa. The downstairs has the living area and kitchen which comes equipped with new appliances and a large island with bar seating space. The master bedroom with a king bed is downstairs with a connected bathroom that has a double sink, soak in tub, and a separate stand-up shower. Upstairs has another master with a king bed and connected bathroom with a standalone shower. The other bedroom is perfect for the kids! It has 2 sets of bunk beds (4 twins) with its own bathroom that has a shower/tub combo. Being in the heart of the island, this space is perfect for proximity to all the amenities on Bald Head.

We had the best week at Maritime Hideaway! The location was perfect-so close to the beach, marina, market, and club. Both golf carts were in great condition. The house was fully equipped with everything that we could possibly need and more. It was so nice having 2 master bedrooms and private bathrooms for each room. The kids loved the bunk bed room. We ate all of our meals on the private and beautiful screened porch. The house was absolutely perfect and we cannot wait to go back to BHI and stay at Maritime Hideaway again!

We had a wonderful stay in Maritime Hideaway. It was well-appointed, especially for a rental. The updated kitchen and gas grill made cooking on vacation enjoyable. We appreciated having both a 4 and 6-seater golf cart that functioned well. The screened in porch was lovely for morning coffee and evening wine. We have visited BHI for 14 years and Maritime Hideaway is now at the top of our list for best island rentals.

PERFECT LOCATION. My family loved staying in the forest and out of all the houses we stayed on Bald Head, this was by far our favorite. It is newly renovated, clean, well furnished and spacious. We also loved the 2 golf carts – the 6 seater is new and stylish and the 4 seater is a go getter. Our family had so much fun on this trip that they are already asking when we can return. Would definitely stay at Maritime Hideaway again!

House is extremely charming on the exterior and even more beautiful on the inside. As soon as I walked in the house, the air smelled fresh and I immediately noticed the beautiful interior design elements. It truly makes you feel like you're in a home away from home (not a rental). You could tell the kitchen and baths have been updated recently, and we loved the fact that there was no carpet in the whole house as we have a child with allergies. Best house I've ever rented on Bald Head and we will be back!

Such a great house! It is in a great location on the island with easy access to just about everywhere. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you would ever need for vacation cooking. The open floor plan is conducive to allow kids and adults to do their own thing while still being present. Front and back porches are relaxing areas for a good book in the morning or conversations at night. Multiple golf carts are convenient if there are varying plans within your group for the day. We would absolutely rent again.

This house was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. The house is located in the forest with close proximity to everything – club, harbor, beach, and market! We loved the BIG porches…coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch in the morning followed by wine and games on the large table and 4 club chairs on the back deck in the evenings. We also loved that each room has an attached bathroom. Made the stay so comfortable and we can truly tell that this is a home used by the owners. Everything was just perfect.

Maritime Hideaway was the perfect clean, spacious, and updated home for our family vacation! We spent a week there in August and loved being tucked away in the Maritime Forrest of Bald Head Island. Unlike rentals we've stayed in before, this house was completely stocked and lacked nothing to cook meals for our family in the amazing chef's kitchen. We really enjoyed having coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening out on the screened in porch. The house was also equipped with two golf carts that made island travel a breeze. Exploring the island on the golf carts might have been our kids favorite thing to do other than the many beach options on Bald Head. We would definitely choose Maritime Hideaway again for our next BHI vacation.

Maritime Hideaway is a hidden gem on the beautiful island of Bald Head. My husband and I vacationed here for a long weekend getaway. From the moment you walk through the door of Maritime Hideaway, you'll feel right at home. Maritime boasts a fully renovated kitchen, a beautiful master bedroom on the main level, an open entertainment area and a screened patio on the back of the home. There are also two golf carts and bikes for use. We took advantage of both. There is even a full-size washer and dryer in the home, if doing laundry on vacation is your thing. It's mine. We had such a wonderful stay, we're going back!

Loved our stay at Maritime Hideaway. Updated and cheerful house with a beautiful new kitchen, updated baths, and great living spaces, indoor and outdoor! The 6-seater golf cart was a huge treat and having a modern bathroom off each bedroom made our stay so comfortable and private. Would definitely come back. Great home:)
